Ingredients

veal (pork) 500 g
balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp
ground black pepper, salt taste
olive oil 3 tbsp
freshly ground cocoa beans 3 h l
rum 100 ml
cream 33% fat 50 ml
spicy mixture (see text) 1 tsp
chilli 0.5 coffee l

Cooking method

  • Meat in spicy chocolate sauce (Chocolate assortment) from the movie Chocolate
  • 1. Cut the meat into portions (as for a chop), rub with pepper and salt, add a mixture of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours. Then quickly fry (pouring the remaining marinade into the pan) over high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • 2. Prepare the sauce: mix ground cinnamon, allspice, white and pink pepper, nutmeg, anise, turmeric and cloves in equal proportions. Add chili.
  • Boil rum, add ground cocoa beans and boil until thick. Add spices, add cream. Mix until smooth, slightly warm everything together and pour the sauce over the meat. Serve immediately.

Note

Medium rare meat with chocolate sauce - at first glance, little combined things. But believe me, the dish is surprisingly harmonious.
