Pumpkin puree soup with smoked meats

Ingredients

Pumpkin 1 kg
Bulb onions 2-3 pcs.
Smoked meats 250 gr.
Milk 200 ml.
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Rast. oil for frying
Salt, spices taste
Toast taste
Greens taste

Cooking method

  • Peel the pumpkin, cut it coarsely, add water (about 1 liter), boil until soft.
  • Meanwhile, finely chop the onion, cut the smoked meats into strips. Fry together in vegetable oil.
  • Boil milk, peel the garlic.
  • Drain the liquid from the pumpkin (to pour it !!!!!!) into a separate bowl.
  • Use a blender to chop the pumpkin in puree, add milk, salt, spices, crushed garlic.
  • Then add pumpkin broth until the desired thickness of the soup is achieved.
  • Try it, maybe add salt.
  • Serve with croutons and herbs.
  • Bon Appetit!!!

8-10 servings

Time for preparing:

30 minutes.

Note

The soup is good from both fresh and frozen pumpkin. I have already stored it in portions in the freezer all winter))))

A soulful recipe! Very pleased :-)
Instead of smoked meat, I used the brisket from Borodin, melted the fat, fried the onion on it, and then fried the remaining brisket with it.
