Okroshka on kefir with dried fish

Okroshka on kefir with dried fish

Ingredients

Potatoes 1-2 pcs.
Radish 100-150 g
Fresh cucumbers 200 g
Hot pepper, salted tsitsak 1-2 pcs.
Eggs are cool 2 pcs.
Greens - dill, parsley, green onions large bundle
Dried fish 100-150 g
Low-fat kefir 1 bottle
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • We are ready to eat such okroshka both in summer and in winter. The only difference is that in summer we usually add ice, in which either sour berries, as in the photo, or leaves of greenery are frozen.
  • Today, my husband "got" pink salmon sticks and sandfish fillets as salted fish))), so I had no problems
  • 🔗 🔗
  • If a whole fish is brought, then I cut the fillet and chop it into cubes too
  • I cut the potatoes into cubes in Boche, boil and cool, the broth will be useful to us for breeding kefir. I also cut eggs, cucumbers into cubes, but I like radishes more into thin cubes and cut them with a julienne disc
  • 🔗
  • I also make sure to finely chop the tsitsak pepper into okroshka, well, if it was not there, which happens very rarely, then I add a teaspoon of adjika
  • 🔗
  • All the greens are finely crumbled, and, finally, the whole ensemble is assembled - we pour kefir into the tureen (it has a volume of 3 liters), the potato broth, all the crumbled ingredients, salt, taking into account the salinity of the fish, pepper, taking into account the sharpness of the tsitsak and invite to the table!

The dish is designed for

3 liters

Time for preparing:

with cooling - 1-2 hours

Note

OKROSHKA - cold soup cooked on bread kvass from vegetables, meat or fish, herbs, eggs.

And this is the first time, to my shame, I hear about such a pepper. Is it from the spicy varieties?

Yes, izumka, this is a spicy salty pepper. It is usually sold where pickles such as wild garlic and garlic are sold.

I cannot leave my favorite dish without comment. For my taste, any okroshka made with kefir is by no means superior to any okroshka with kvass, but if it is also with fish, then it is simply delight. You can rejoice both in winter and in summer, because there is nothing seasonal in it. The main thing is not to regret the kefir, to mix it thicker (so that the spoon stands) and, of course, not to forget about the core - tsitsak and adjika are required (if, of course, gastritis allows). It is good that Doplet shares my views. In short, just *******!
(Instead of stars, everyone has the right to insert the usual superlative degree of quality).

P.S. There is nothing perfect in life, so in the order of criticism Dopplet: why did you get it in quotes? Even if I caught it, even bought it, even if it stole it, I still got it.

I recommend everyone to try it if anyone hasn't tried it. Delicious.

Excuse me, I’ll ask right away, but this hot pepper is not too hot? In the sense of baking strong or tolerant? I can guess what it tastes like, if this is what I had to try, I will know at least the name. Something similar was brought from Spain, but it was eaten without the consequences of walking with an open mouth. It tastes very good.
Very deep merci for okroshka!

Handsomely! The ice is so unexpected - "Made with love ..." Have you tried it with salted fish? It looks like botvinya. If I understood Pokhlebkin correctly.

dopleta, Larissa, Summer is coming, it's time to remember summer recipes, and dig a hamster's hole with bookmarks. In short, prepare for the season, so that you will not regret it later. So, we are here for you, professor ........ Lorik, tell me please, do you need to get fish only from the sea or is it possible to get the river? After all, they have principally different taste and smell.
kavmins
Beetle extractor, it never looks like botvinya ...)))) it is made on tops and kvass, that is, on sorrel, beet tops, well, maybe even nettle-spinach !!! there is no botvinya here or nearby, especially according to Pokhlebkin ...

or can a river one?
Can, Nikusyaif you are sure of it. It's just that parasites are often found in the river, and if it is improperly harvested ... well, you understand! "Professor" appreciated! Oh, you're from Taganrog! You got fish there - mmmmm! I have a son-in-law from Taganrog.
