Ingredients

dried apricots 150gr.
potato starch 1.5 tbsp. l.
water 4 tbsp.
sugar taste

Cooking method

  • Rinse dried apricots, dry, put in a saucepan, pour 2 cups of water and cook until soft, if the water has not boiled away, pour it into a cup, and chop the dried apricots with a blender in mashed potatoes, pour the poured liquid into the apricot puree, pour 1.5 tbsp ... remaining water, add sugar to taste and let it boil.
  • In the remaining 0.5 st of water, dilute the starch and pour into an apricot "compote", preventing it from thickening and boiling for 5 minutes, turn it off and use it warm or cold.

depending on the desired density of jelly, the proportions of starch are as follows:
1.thick jelly-1st. l. starch for every glass of liquid
2.medium jelly-1 dessert spoon of starch per glass of liquid

I put a spoonful of honey on top, for this I cooked jelly without sugar. Starch put 40 grams so that the jelly was thicker.
