I have a Toshiba RC-10MM multicooker. I brought myself from Ty two years ago. Miracle! I'm not overjoyed. But this is the first time I've heard about the fermenting function. Rather, it is a program where t is at most 40 *. Porridge can be cooked without heat treatment, insist something, make yogurt. But you never know.
Agenda
I'll try to make yoghurt, but I'm just picking up more glass jars. Yes, it's good to bring multicooker from Tay. They are quite inexpensive here. So I found my beauty:
Multicooker Toshiba RC-18NMFR and RC-10NMFR
In rubles, it costs about 2500.

I have the same, but small. Yes, the choice in Tae is huge. I liked this model for its elegant shapes and electronic display, which also works like a clock. And she squeaks gently, unlike Panasonic.
In general, our beauty!

Agenda, Tayna, Hello!
I also have a Toshiba multicooker, but unfortunately I have lost the instructions and can not find it anywhere .. even the Internet is powerless here
In principle, outwardly the models are very similar .. If it's not difficult for you, could you post your instructions here ..
Thank you very much in advance!
Tayna
My instruction was in English and Thai. I don't even know where she is.
If you have specific questions, I will be happy to answer. Unfortunately, I can't post the instructions.

Actually, the instructions told how to look after and how to program.
But I figured out the buttons without instructions.

I would venture to guess that your fermentation is all about soaking in warm water. I read on Ibei that this method of cooking brown rice is now in vogue - its preliminary soaking in tech. several hours in the water 39 degrees. this releases some highly beneficial acids from the rice.

Hello!

Take me to the Toshiba Multicooker Owners Club. This is my first slow cooker.

Something already turns out in it to cook. Everything that has already been prepared (milk porridge, charlotte, potatoes with turkey and mushrooms, soups) are homemade happy, everything comes out delicious. And how glad I am to have such an Assistant in the kitchen !!!

There are several questions about multicooker modes. If the owners of Toshibok come here, I will be glad to talk!

I was a little upset by the absence of the extinguishing mode, since the longest program is 70 minutes. How do you deal with this problem?

zav-na
Toshiba, thanks for the answer!

Do I understand correctly that you are an official representative?

It is a little inconvenient that the programs are strictly limited in time. Rather, it is even insulting. For example, the Dough could be used to make yoghurt, but the program is only 60 minutes. You can't put it at night, and it's not fun to run every hour during the day.

What I liked very much about it - a magnificent saucepan and a removable lid. If someone is interested, I can post a photo. Made really cool, the quality of the materials is very pleasing!

There are a couple of questions. Could you tell me in which programs the multicooker goes into heating mode after cooking? Until I tried everything ... And what temperature in heating mode is also very interesting, maybe they can replace extinguishing?

And in which programs does the timer work? The instruction on this matter is silent.

And also, I would not refuse one more saucepan and some extra. fixtures, if any. Tell me, can they be purchased additionally?

Thanks again in advance!

Natalia.

Keep Warm is automatically activated after the following programs:
Mixed Rice and Congee on Buttons
and
White Rice and Quick Cook / Steam, selectable by the Cook button.

After Menu programs (Fermentation, Baking / Soup, Boiling Egg, Warming Soup), this function can only be activated independently, not automatically.

As for the temperature:
As you can see from the table of temperature regimes in the instructions, the function turns on after programs, the temperature of the last minutes of cooking which is 100 degrees. That is, the initial temperature will be equal to 100. Then it starts to decrease gradually and stabilizes after 5 hours of the Heating function. It will be equal to 74.5 for the 18th model and 73.9 for the 10th. So you can safely leave the meat on the automatic Keep warm after, for example, Mixed Rice. It will come and will be like in pots from the oven

And in which programs does the timer work? The instruction on this matter is silent.
The timer works for Mixed Rice, Congee (separate buttons) and White Rice (Cook button) modes.
Press Timer, Hr buttons. and Min. set the start time for cooking and press the desired button (Mixed Rice / Congee / Cook).
If everything is correct, the lamp of the selected program and the Timer lamp (green) will be on.

Good luck!

Cheers cheers ! I became the owner of the Toshiba multicooker! I got it as a gift for the refrigerator. Only now, unfortunately, the set did not include a book with recipes for it (((Maybe someone knows where you can find recipes for this particular brand of multicooker?

Please tell me where did you get the refrigerator?
We will contact the store and try to prevent this for future customers.
Thank you!

Thank you very much for the information!

The last days I cook 70-80% in a multicooker!

Really like! If you delve into it, there is everything you need and nothing more that I am always looking for in technology, and not only.

The meat comes out very soft even on regular programs. The daughters love pasta, I gotol them with meat on "mixed rice" - it's great.
The carrot pie from this forum was rated 5 by everyone! We tried pilaf, soups, milk porridge, side dishes. Everything is fine!

We bought another one, she will go to my mother, I hope she will also appreciate all her advantages!

Toshiba,

Another question, can the pot be washed in the dishwasher? And is it possible to put it in the oven, say, under the grill for browning at the final stage?

The refrigerator was ordered at the BT Park in Novye Cheryomushki. Since the refrigerator was the main purchase, I did not check the set of the multicooker, I hoped for decency) But Alas) I would be grateful to you if you really solve this problem with the set of the supplied Toshiba products. Thank you in advance!

the saucepan can be washed in the dishwasher?
Nina, yes, you can.
But please take into account that if during the washing process, the saucepan is mechanically damaged, this may damage the coating. In this case, the saucepan will not be covered by the warranty. I give an excerpt from the warranty card:
"This warranty is void if the Product is damaged by:
mechanical damage "

Quote: zav-na

is it possible to put it in the oven, say, under the grill, for browning at the final stage?
The saucepan is designed for use with this appliance only. Thus, in normal use, the maximum temperature it will be exposed to will be 110 degrees Celsius.
If the saucepan is used at higher temperatures (for example, in the oven) and in other conditions (for example, grilling), the coating may deteriorate.

Take me to the ranks of Toshiba multicooker lovers. This is my 3rd slow cooker. In addition to it, there is a LandLife and Panasonic pressure cooker - 18, the very first release. I wanted a small MV - for cereals, mostly.
Planned to buy Panasonic-10, considered Toshiba and Hitachi. Pre-read recipes and instructions for Toshibe. The seller was persuaded by Toshiba. I liked the design, the bucket, the signal. The recipe book was.
The slow cooker cooks for a long time, but delicious. I cooked jasmine rice with chicken, buckwheat, milk porridge from corn, oats, wheat from the recipe book. I took recipes on the forums. Everything turns out great. Milk porridge I take 0.5 cups of MV cereals I wash + 0.5 liters of milk with water, sugar, salt to taste. Porridge mode on the timer from the evening + 30-40 min heating.
The question is - where to get Shiite mushrooms or what to replace?
There are no reviews on this multicooker in the internet and there are no recipes, only a recipe book.
Has anyone tried oven in it? Not bread - for bread I have HP Panas, but pies, casseroles.
Lay out the recipe - who stewed the meat, please.
Nobody cooked fish? There are no recipes for steaming, can anyone have tried it?
I want to try recipes from Panas - buckwheat with mushrooms and rice with garlic - then I'll sign off what happened.

xdimans, congratulations on your purchase!

response from our service department:
On a special bus for grounding devices.
According to the standards, there is such a bus in every home - for example, the bathtub is grounded, the kitchen has a bus lead for the stove, the wiring in new houses has a ground bus, etc.
For each specific room, on this request, you should use the advice of the operating organization.

I cook rice in milk, in multi-glasses 0.5 rice + 1.5 milk + 1 water, on Kasha + heating, it turns out 2 servings, just right for us. Corn 0.5 to 1.5 water, 0.5 tsp of salt and 0.5 tablespoon sugar, on Mixed rice, you can eat right away, I liked it.

She fried potatoes in baking, slightly browned, otherwise soft and tasty potatoes came out. I will do that.

I made pilaf on beef, stewed the zirvak well at first, then threw rice, the meat turned out to be very soft, rice was right, rice to rice.

I baked a carrot cake 2 times - delicious, almost a cake, baked well. Yesterday I baked chocolate in boiling water, kept it for 60 + 20 minutes, but the middle settled a bit and came out damp-sticky in my opinion. We should try a little longer next time.

Yesterday I stewed and baked lamb cutlets on baked goods, it took more than an hour, but it turned out very juicy and tasty.

I'm going to bake a pork neck today or tomorrow, I'll sign off how it goes.

I haven't tried steamed fish yet ... I need to try salmon with vegetables and cheese.

I'm also going to make vegetables for the vinaigrette and cauliflower, only until I decided how.

Toshiba , I approximately thought so, I decided to clarify just in case.

In fact, the saucepan hardly gets dirty. By the way, and "forged" from the description - what metal is used under the non-stick coating?

The question is - where to get Shiite mushrooms or what to replace?
if we are talking about Moscow, then they can be found in the networks METRO C&C, 7 Continent, Azbuka Vkusa, they are in the Perekrestok (more often in dried form, in the section with Asian cuisine products). Recently, in the wake of the popularity of Asian cuisine, these types of products will not be difficult to find.
You can cook at your discretion and replace with oyster mushrooms, but then the dish will turn out differently
Shiitaki are very healthy mushrooms and contain a lot of vitamins. Their taste and smell are specific, respectively, they add a "zest" to this dish.

The casserole recipe is in the recipe book. Or are you talking about potato?
Sweet is all good, but my personal favorite is the fruitcake.
The meat can be stewed according to the recipes from pages 19, 20, 27.
Or you can even bake a whole piece of meat! I took a piece of pork (500 g, not less) for baking, stuffed with garlic, salt / pepper, poured a little oil on the bottom of the saucepan, held it on Baking for 5-10 minutes on each side to brown, then on Congee, when I finished, turn over and again on Сongee. She did all this in the evening and at night it remained on the automatic keep warm. The meat is very soft
It is not difficult to steam it:
Pour water into the pot so that the legs of the stand are in the water, but not the whole stand.
Put the fish on a stand, having pre-processed it in the way you need, close the lid, choose Quick cook / Steam. All

By the way, and "forged" from the description - what metal is used under the non-stick coating?
zav-na,
Made from Toshiba's patented high-strength alloy, eco-friendly materials, this durable forged pot with a titanium (non-stick) coating meets international quality standards. A similar material is used by our company for most of the models on the Japanese market and other sales markets, including induction multicooker.
The forging process provides higher strength and thermal conductivity. The properties of the material and the special shape of the saucepan contribute to an even distribution of heat, allowing food to simmer in its own juice during cooking, protecting it from burning and preserving more useful properties.

Good day!
Congratulations on your purchase!
You are doing everything right. If you refer to the Temperature Range Table in the manual, you will see that the Baking / Soup mode starts at 93/94 degrees Celsius. The multicooker takes time to warm up to the desired temperature and start cooking at the specified mode for the specified time (provided that you select the mode where you set the time yourself).

Ask questions, if something is not clear, we will clarify

First, I prepared zirvak on baking / soup, as stewed I threw the rice, closed the lid and on the mixed rice until the end of the program. It turned out delicious.

I also cooked jasmine on mixed rice, I also really liked it. As I understand it, everything that is needed to be crumbly in the end is cooked on mixed rice, everything is viscous - on porridge.

This week I cooked a baked neck, marinated for a day, baked in baking for 60 minutes + 60 minutes left on the heating + for 8 hours in the switched off multitask and for 6-8 hours in the refrigerator. The meat was firm, but not dry. On a sandwich in thin slices - yummy.

Yesterday I made an omelet on baked goods. A find for children who do not like yolks - they ate it in a minute, very tender and tasty.

It's a pity that I came across this topic so late. Last year I brought Panas from Tay, today I'm flying again, and I wanted to buy a second one. And now Toshiba wanted, they were there too. Maybe someone in the know: they sell rice cookers for 265 baht. Are their bowls the same size as Panas or Toshiba? And can you buy spare bowls there in supers?
princessa ..
Toshiba Good evening! I bought a slow cooker 2 weeks ago, I'm very happy for my birthday! I tried to cook a lot of things, everything is very tasty! And the banana cake is generally awesome! : bravo: The only thing that the chicken fillet turned out rather dry, maybe you chose the wrong mode?
I also have such a plus sign to it, along with the instructions, there was a sticker with the buttons in Russian, I glued it to the lid very conveniently!
Another question is whether it is possible to make yogurt in it or is it better to buy a yogurt maker?
zav-na
princessa .. I can tell you about yogurt.
I did it 2 times, for the first 3 times I started the dough mode, then left it for 1.5-2 hours and in the refrigerator, it turned out very similar to the miracle of bio. For 1 liter of milk I took about 100g of ordinary sour cream.
The second time there was more milk and it already smelled slightly sour, although it still tasted normal. I put it on the dough in the evening and left it like that overnight, in the morning I started the dough again, opened it right after the signal, the yogurt was already ready, the same as the first time, now in the refrigerator.

I did not find a video for my multicooker by instruction, I don’t understand. help grandma tell me step by step in detail in advance thank you
Hello. Everything is very simple.

If you need to cook dairy or just a viscous porridge, then put cereals, pour milk, you can half with water, you can just water, I like the ratio 1: 5, that is, take 5 cups of liquid for 1 cup of cereal. Then salt, sugar, close the lid and press the CONGEE button on the multicooker) 10 minutes before readiness, the countdown will begin. When it boils, I add oil, stir well and leave it without pressing for another 30-40 minutes, the porridge is heated. When heating is no longer needed, I press CANCEL (cancel).

If you want to use the timer, then before pressing the PORSE button, press the TIMER button and use the HR and MIN buttons to set the time for which you need ready-made porridge. The light in the top row will light up 4, then the porridge button - the program has started.

The timer works on white rice (MENU button 1 time) MIXED RICE and CONGEE.

I cook side dishes on MIXED RICE (mixed varieties of rice), everything is the same as with porridge, just press another button and water 1: 2 or 1: 3, according to your taste. the program is fully automatic, the degree of variability is regulated by the amount of water to the dry product, it works until the liquid boils away.

On the soup / baking mode, I cook soups, stews, stew vegetables, meat, bake pies, fry potatoes in butter, you can make casseroles. To select the mode, press the MENU button 2 TIMES, a horizontal stick appears above the second item under the clock, it is written finely BAKING / SOUP, select the MIN button how many minutes you need the program duration, from 1 to 60 minutes and press the COOK button. The program has started. On how to do everything in stages, in this mode I will write about the soup, if something else interests you, write what is specific, I will describe the process.

While writing about borscht.

I turn on the baking / soup mode - BAKING / SOUP for 60 minutes (2 times the menu button and COOK (COOK), I let it warm up for 5 minutes, put the chopped onions and carrots and close the lid, after 2-3 minutes, when I hear hissing (vegetables began to browse ) I open and, stirring occasionally, give them another 3-5 minutes, then I put the grated beets, tomato, a little vinegar, stir, let it warm up, the lid can be closed - this is how the temperature rises. When the vegetables are steamed a little, pour the broth and let it boil. I fill in the broth with the expectation that I will also add potatoes and cabbage and the total volume should not go beyond the highest risk on the inside of the saucepan.
When the broth has boiled, I bring in all the remaining vegetables, meat, salt, add seasonings, let it boil with the lid open for 10-15 minutes. Then I press CANCEL and turn on the heating - for this I press the COOK button 3 times. At the same time, 3 lights in the top row above the KEEP WARM inscription come on. After that I close the lid and let the soup brew for 1-1.5 hours. Any soup can be made this way.

If you write something incomprehensible, ask.

zav-na
I will also add, it is better to use wooden or silicone spatulas, including a ladle. Since even the included spatula will chill marks on the surface, very small, but it is still better to avoid them.
Pauline
Thank you again for the answer, otherwise I am already sitting in despondency and cooking on the gas stove what has not been cooked in the slow cooker. I will follow your instructions. Another question: what should be the starting point when choosing the duration of the program. 1 to 60, and why 60 is it a move, is it possible that even the meat will be cooked during this time? my potatoes are not cooked, apparently the ratio of water to potatoes is not appropriate right?
zav-na
And on what mode did you cook and how much water and potatoes were in the multicooker?

I usually fry the meat a little at first in baking in the slow cooker itself or in a frying pan. Then, if in a slow cooker, then I reset the program, add vegetables or cereals, depending on what I cook and put on mixed varieties of rice. I add water only for cereals, if vegetables with meat, then pour a minimum. Everything usually has time to get ready.

Separately, I put the meat on the baking. The countdown does not start immediately after the lid is closed, but when the inside of the sensor detects a temperature close to boiling. so it takes more than 60 minutes. If you don't have enough time right away, you can re-expose the program.

If the cooking time is unimportant, that is, they put it and went somewhere, then you can put meat dishes right on the mixed rice. After the end of cooking, the cartoon will go into heating mode and the dish will "reach" at 75 degrees for a few more hours. The meat is then very soft!
Pauline
the water was on a par with the krtoshka cooked on the soup for 60 minutes turned on twice - remained raw. I realized that following your recommendations, I will try again. Thank you for your attention to my failure with cooking. I will definitely write about the result
Pauline
I am very grateful for your help, I cooked millet porridge today - it worked! delicious. if I'm not tired of you, tell me how to make steam cutlets and carrot casserole and meat in a piece

Is it possible to make yogurt in it or is it better to buy a yogurt maker?

The yoghurt maker is a specialized device. In it, you can make yoghurt without much hassle, just by pressing a button.
You will have to tinker with a multicooker, but anything is possible!

I can offer this cooking option:

you will need:
"live" milk - 1 package,
natural yogurt, no additives - 1 jar
glass jars, cling film, towel / silicone mat

We heat milk to 40 degrees;
Mix the yoghurt with milk thoroughly;
We take glass jars, pour future yogurt over them, cover each jar with cling film;
We put a towel or a silicone mat on the bottom of the saucepan (so as not to damage the bowl cover), put the jars there;
Pour water so that it is level with the mass in the jars;
Turn on Keep Warm;
After 20 minutes, turn off (click Cancel) and let it stand for an hour without opening the lid;
Turn on Keep Warm again for 20 minutes;
after that let it stand for an hour 6
After 6 hours, the saucepan will still be slightly warm, then the jars can be taken out and put into the refrigerator.
After cooling, the yogurt is ready.

With this method of preparation, the whey did not separate from me, the yogurt tasted better after being in the refrigerators

Good luck!

We are waiting for your feedback and other methods of making yogurt in our slow cooker, if someone has already experimented!
zav-na
Pauline Very happy for you! You just need to get used to it and everything will work out!

Try steam cutlets on the QUICK COOK / STEAM mode 2 times on the COOK button, 2 lights in the top row will light up. Cutlets on the wire rack in a double boiler, down the water before reaching the top of the wire rack and watch when ready. I haven't cooked the cutlets yet, I won't tell you in time.

Make the casserole on baking, set the time to 60 minutes, but I would start to drop in earlier so as not to overexpose. Then tell us how it happened!

I made meat in a piece on baking. Marinated, then the meat in a cartoon, poured down the juice released during marinating, you can make a pillow of onion-tomato-pepper. I kept a 1.2 kg piece of pork neck for about 120 minutes on baking, turned it over once. When I was ready, I turned off the multicooker and left it to cool, then put it in the refrigerator. But I did it for sandwiches. Although you can eat it hot, it's also probably delicious.

Read the recipes on the forum, then you can adapt them for Toshiba. Or even ordinary recipes, knowing the duration of programs and temperatures at different stages, can also be adapted ...
Pauline

Good evening everyone! I am a novice user of the Toshiba multicooker, I bought it yesterday, but today I have already tried it. I stewed meat with vegetables, it turned out delicious. But I ran into this problem: can the delay start be set only on 3 programs? And if I want to put baked goods in the morning, or leave for work, put the meat stew with a delay, and arrive in the evening, and everything is ready so that it was, how to install the program correctly? Experienced users, please give advice and I still could not boil the eggs, how many mines should I put?

Good evening everyone! I am a novice user of the Toshiba multicooker, I bought it yesterday, but today I have already tried it. I stewed meat with vegetables, it turned out delicious. But I ran into this problem: can the delay start be set only on 3 programs? And if I want to put baked goods in the morning, or leave for work, put the meat stew with a delay, and arrive in the evening, and everything is ready so that it was, how to install the program correctly? Experienced users, please give advice and I still did not manage to boil the eggs, how many mines should I put?

You won't be able to put baked goods in the morning, if only a casserole or an omelet can be put on milk porridge, I read that they do it, I haven't tried it myself. The baking of the yeast dough in it is probably not very good, because there will be no golden brown crust on top. And baking on a baking powder still needs to be baked right away ...

As for the dish to be ready for arrival from work, there are 2 exits.Meat with vegetables and cereals can be put on the mixed rice program, then it automatically switches to heating, but I would "fry" the meat a little on baking before adding other ingredients. Or in manual mode, bake on baking, when everything is ready to set the heating itself. During heating, the meat at 75 degrees also languishes a little, by the evening it will become the softest.

I didn't cook the eggs, if I decided to try, I would put them on the soup for 10 minutes. There, the countdown starts from a temperature close to the boil of the product, so 10 minutes should be enough, but keep in mind that it will also take time to boil, that is, the total cooking time will be about half an hour, I think.
And in the program of boiling eggs there is a very interesting temperature, this is probably soft-boiled eggs or "in a bag".

Thanks a lot for the advice. I will master the cartoon. Today I put the potatoes to stew in the baking / soup mode and left, when I returned, I found that the potatoes were cooked, but the heating mode did not turn on. I think it should have been funny. put rice .... tomorrow I'll try the casserole ...

Girls, I have one more question .... did anyone cook jellied meat? I looked in other topics, many cook jellied meat in a cartoon, they put it on stewing for 4-5 hours in time, but is it possible on our cartoon? It seems that they don't have such long programs ... are there any tricks so that the jellied meat on Toshiba is no worse?

manynya The heating does not turn on automatically after baking. Jellied meat can also be put on mixed rice at night, on heating it will be as it should be in the morning, I think.

I just discovered this slow cooker for myself.
Very pretty!
Did I understand correctly that the menu is in Japanese? And what is the displacement of the big and small multi?
I guessed ... I'll go for a walk on the Internet, in search of my questions ...
