margarine 150 grams

slaked soda one teaspoon
grated carrots 150 grams
raisins 100g
zest 1 orange
flour 150 grams
cinnamon one tablespoon
powdered sugar 150 grams
Orange juice 1 1/2 - two tablespoons

Cooking method

  • Cooking method:
  • Mix eggs, sugar and margarine, whisk lightly. Add grated carrots, raisins and orange zest. We mix everything. Add baking soda, cinnamon and flour. Mix well again. The dough is liquid.
  • Grease the form with oil (I just put it on parchment paper), pour out the dough and bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  • Pour the finished cake with icing so that it flows along the edges. Let the glaze harden.
  • For the icing: mix the icing sugar and orange juice.
