Cherry Pie Royal

Ingredients

Dough:
powdered sugar 100 g
butter 200 g
flour 300 g
vanilla sugar 1 tsp
Filler:
pitted cherry 350 g
milk 150 ml
cream 33% fat 150 ml
eggs (large) 2 pcs
sugar 80 g
corn starch 2 h l
rum 1-2 tbsp
nuts and powdered sugar for dusting

Cooking method

  • 1. Mix flour with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar and in a blender mix with chilled butter into crumbs. Then knead the dough with your hands. Spread over the bottom of the mold and raise the sides by 2.5-3 cm.
  • The dough is very plastic and making it with your hands is not at all difficult.
  • 2. Spread the cherries over the dough piece and sprinkle with rum.
  • 3. Mix cornstarch with sugar and eggs and beat lightly (as for an omelet). Mix the cream with milk and heat to 85-90 degrees. Gradually pour the milk mixture into the egg mixture, stirring vigorously. Pour the resulting mass into a mold and place in a preheated oven. Bake at 170 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Sprinkle nuts on the cake 15-20 minutes before the end of baking. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
  • The amount of ingredients is based on a mold with a diameter of 26 cm.

Marina don't even hesitate. I will definitely like it because I love pastries with cherries. I froze her darling for the winter as much as half a bucket without bones

Marina, if not for the bone remover, I would never have frozen her so much.

My third season is working fine. I always freeze a lot of cherries and my husband, as the main consumer, uses it.
