Ingredients

flour 200 g
sour cream 4 tbsp. l. +1 glass
butter 100 g
bulb onions 700 g
eggs 3 pieces
hard cheese 100 g
nutmeg 1 tsp
salt taste
bacon (optional) 50 g

Cooking method

  • The pie is made with tender crunchy dough and juicy filling.
  • Put the ingredients for the dough into a bowl - the bottom layer of the pie is flour, butter, 4 tbsp. spoons of sour cream, salt.
  • Knead the dough. It turns out to be very delicate and elastic, easily separated from the bowl and from the hands. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator.
  • We clean and cut the onion (in half rings). Fry it in vegetable oil (I fried in a mixture of butter and olive) with nutmeg. Salt and pepper to taste. I urge you to definitely add nutmeg, because without it, the dish loses its zest. Add finely chopped bacon if desired.
  • Roll out the dough, or simply distribute it with your fingers in the shape, making high sides (shape diameter - 24 cm). We spread the bow on it. We do the filling separately - beat the eggs with a glass of sour cream. Pour the filling on top of the onion.
  • Three cheese on a fine grater and pour in the pie.
  • We bake at a temperature of 200 degrees for about 30 minutes (it took me 50 minutes) until a crust forms, a color pleasing to your eye.
  • The pie is delicious both hot and cold. Enjoy!)

Yes, the cake is great. In any feast, it is swept away first. I add 0.5 teaspoons of baking powder to the dough, and butter or margarine (really insensitive) - only 50 g. And I send the dough to the refrigerator already in the form, so it's more convenient.

I saw it in the evening - and so I wanted to cook, but I didn't have the strength to bake it - so I prepared the dough in the evening (I put it in the refrigerator already in the form) and the filling (the onion was stewed in the cartoon while I was busy with the dough). And in the morning I took out the mold with the dough, distributed the onions, pour the filling and cheese on top and into the oven - everyone woke up from the amazing smell (Jacobs is resting)! It turned out a ruddy handsome man!
