Ingredients

Orange 1 PC
Butter 150gr
Sugar 120gr
Flour 150gr
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Chicken eggs 3 pcs

Cooking method

  • 1. Grate the orange zest and squeeze out the juice.
  • 2. Separate the whites from the yolks.
  • 3. Soften the butter and beat it with sugar.
  • 4. Add yolks to butter and beat again.
  • 5. Add orange juice and zest to the egg-butter mass. Mix.
  • 6. Mix flour with baking powder and add everything to the kneaded mass.
  • 7. Whisk the whites into a stable foam and mix gently with the bulk.
  • 8. Grease the cake pan with butter, put the dough and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

You can replace an orange with a lemon (I liked the taste even more than with a sweet orange), and if you don't have butter, don't buy the store! Added vegetable. The taste does not change significantly. But the pastries came out more airy and did not get stale for a very long time. (the cake was uncovered on the plate and remained soft). At the same time, the husband brought up willpower (no more than one piece a day!). Withstood. But the second ate in two sitting.

Made according to this recipe, only beat the sugar with eggs with a mixer, 1-2 minutes.
I also added a little lemon zest. Soda put 1 tsp. Cooked at 175 g for 12 minutes.
Poured into 2 forms. I just overdid it a little, it was necessary to put less in the cell, the cupcakes rose very much.

Thanks a lot for the recipe! Made in separate metal molds, filled the molds by 2/3. While baking - the form was filled in completely. but by the end of baking (baked for 25 minutes at 180 degrees) - the cupcakes settled on the same 2/3 of the molds. But this did not affect the taste and aroma at all. I did not have time to take a photo, since the cupcakes were eaten by my household while still warm I take the recipe into service!
