Meat loaf "Stefania"

Ingredients

Chopped meat
(beef, beef + pork
the main thing is not bold)
500 g
Boiled eggs
(depending on size)
4-5 pcs.
Red bell pepper
(1/2 red and 1/2 green
or yellow,
just red looks more fun)
1 PC.
A raw egg 1 PC.
Salt pepper taste
Sour cream or mayonnaise (for coating) 1 tbsp. l.
Small onion 1 PC.
Garlic 1-2 cloves

Cooking method

  • 1. Prepare the minced meat with the addition of onions and garlic (the minced meat should be "smooth", I pass it through a meat grinder 2 times), add salt, pepper, and a raw egg to it.
  • 2. Coarsely chop or dice the eggs, add diced pepper to them, add a little salt - the filling is ready.
  • 3. Fold the foil in 2-3 layers, put the minced meat in the form of a rectangle on the foil, smooth it to a thickness of 2-3 cm, put the filling in the middle with a sausage. Gently, with the help of foil, connect the edges of the minced meat to make one large long "zrazina" in the shape of a sausage. Join the edges of the foil, carefully, seam on top.
  • 4. The resulting roll for 30 minutes. into a preheated oven, after 30 get it, open the foil so that it turns out to be a "trough" and coat the top of the roll with sour cream or mayonnaise. And back to the oven for 10-15 minutes so that the top turns brown and the resulting broth evaporates a little.
  • 5. Eat cold, cut like a sausage, into pieces 1.5-2 cm thick.

Note

Earlier (about 25 years ago) I bought it all the time in cooking from Prague. Then I learned to do it myself, since the recipe is the simplest.

Tasty, beautiful (because of the multi-colored filling), quickly and not troublesome.
