Zvezd-e dedicated to

Olya-Zvezda, I want to thank you in the first lines of this Temko, it was your post in "Devicesaholics" about the desire to buy a freezer-freezer that was the starting point for the purchase.
Before that I only looked closely, tried on, but could not make up my mind ...

The fact is that both of my ice cream makers without a compressor - I don't know for what reason - stopped freezing to such a point that the engine would stop due to the density. I don't know what's the matter, but not in the freezing temperature in the freezer, I checked it with a non-contact laser thermometer-pyrometer, -24C
As a result, too soft ice cream had to be placed in the freezer for additional freezing, and if there was no time to take it out and mix it many times, ice crystals formed.

I looked closely at Nemox compressor ice cream makers and cheap Montiss
The latter pleased me with the price, but did not suit me with the small volume of the bowl and the tiny hole for pouring the mass (one of my two ice cream makers is Montiss and in comparison with the second hole is clearly small and inconvenient)

I didn't seriously look at Ariete, its price was more expensive than Montiss and the bowl is also small
But then suddenly a search gave me a price almost twice cheaper than in other places (details of my purchase in the topic Devasaholics 5) - and now I already have an ice cream maker!

Ice cream maker Ariete 0693 Gran Gelato with compressor

Of the pluses:
- low noise level during operation (several times lower than when my ice cream makers work without a compressor)

- the blade spins much faster, so even at not very low temperatures, the mass is frozen evenly and quickly

- ice cream can be added to freeze without removing, if after finishing work you want a stronger ice cream (the spatula has stopped, the ice cream has become thick due to agar but has not yet formed enough into a ball)

- there is a function of keeping the finished ice cream cold (Nemox only has more expensive models)

- personally for me it is much more convenient that the spatula is simply put into the bucket and then the motor is put on it with the lid closed (in mine it was necessary to connect the spatula with the motor and install the entire structure together with the lid on the bowl, this is very inconvenient, the whole structure must be fixed so that the lid did not close, it made me so nervous that my husband usually helped)

Cons:
- small volume of the bucket, only 1 liter (maximum load of ingredients 800 g)

- small size of the hole where you need to pour the mass. At the expense of agar, I make the mass quite thick (compensates for the absence of yolks and fat as thickeners). I will try to lay the mass not through the hole, but after installing the spatula before the bucket is installed in the ice cream maker)

- a very unsuccessful pusher ice cream spoon. The instructions say that you need to take out the ice cream with it, but the ejector practically does not work, this does not form a ball. The plastic is flimsy, even the edges of the new spoon are slightly serrated, I think that for a while such a spoon will be enough if you take out the hardened ice cream. But this is, of course, a trifle

I was not ready for the fact that between the non-removable bowl and the bucket it was necessary to pour not salty water (as I read in Nemox), but a mixture of water and alcohol ... Well, I have neither alcohol nor even vodka in my house ... donate light rum Bacardi (only 15 g, but it's a pity) Today I'll go buy vodka

Alexandra, thanks to the post about this ice cream maker, I am now also its happy owner. Today they brought in and now she is making the first portion of ice cream.
I also searched the Internet at one time in search of a compressor unit, but the price stopped me.And since our freezer is usually clogged, it was impossible to freeze a bowl from non-automatic ice cream makers in it. Now, with your easy serve, the family will be with homemade ice cream. This is for you

ArieteThank you for your kind words !!!

I already tensed when I saw the name of the manufacturer in the authors of the message ... I thought. said something about them wrong or wrong

Please, unsubscribe about your impressions, I hope it will not disappoint!

Mine is working now, whipped skim milk with bamix with the addition of zero cottage cheese and agar, into a lush foam, now I'm looking at what kind of ice cream it will turn out ...

Alexandra, I myself laughed when I wrote the post, even went to my profile to look, when I registered on the forum, I look in July, I have never heard of this company's ice cream maker.

The first ice cream made "Sundae with cognac" (far from a dietary option, but my family members very much approved):
200 g of condensed milk
250 g cream
1 can of concentrated milk
2 tbsp. l. cognac
vanillin

I put it on for 50 minutes, after 40 minutes. During operation, the stirrer stopped, cooled for 10 minutes without stirring. The ice cream turned out to be of medium consistency, and not hard, but not the usual soft.

Alexandra, you wrote that during cooking, the temperature did not drop below 16 degrees, but my temperature reached 23 degrees and practically until the end of cooking it was kept at this mark.

The ice cream maker is very happy, tomorrow I will try to make a dietary cottage cheese version for myself based on your ice cream, I hope it will work out.

Have you done without whipping before?
Alexandra
Ariete, I was explained on another forum that the temperature in the ice cream maker depends on the initial temperature of the mass.
Mine was at room temperature. But today from the freezer - the ice cream maker worked at -19C

I did not beat it, but punch it with a mixer for uniformity. And now I bought and try a new mixer (bamix) and, under the impression of how they whip milk, I tried to whip

In my recipes, everything is very detailed, if I don't write what I whipped, then I don’t whisk. There are a lot of recipes on my site Alexander, choose any

Good day!
Let me bring up the topic
I recently purchased such an ice cream maker, started experimenting with recipes, when cooked strictly according to the instructions, the ice cream at the exit turns out to be very soft, it immediately melts, you get an average consistency only if you leave it to cool additionally? The instructions are rather poor in terms of the nuances of cooking, and according to most reviews - "great ice cream in 40 minutes."
