Kutab with herbs

Ingredients

Dough
Whole grain flour or 1 grade wheat 200 g
Water 100 ml
Salt 1/2 tsp
Rust oil 1 tsp
Filling
Chopped greens, green onions 4 tbsp. l.
Garlic 4 teeth
Tipi cheese or suluguni cheese 50 g
Butter for frying 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Knead the dough - it is better in KhP on the "Noodles" or "Pelmeni" program, at the end of the batch add vegetable oil. Remove, covered with foil, in the refrigerator, at least - for 1 hour.
  • Melt butter in a frying pan, simmer chopped green onions, add crushed garlic and chopped herbs. Mix everything, remove from heat. Cool and add grated feta cheese or other cheese like suluguni, stir well.
  • Remove the dough from the refrigerator, pinch off pieces about the size of a large onion, roll a ball and roll thinly into a circle, put the filling, fold in half and pinch.
  • Fry in a pan without oil on both sides.
  • Grease the finished kutabs with butter.
  • It is good to make the dough and filling in the evening, and quickly make it for breakfast in the morning.

In our "Chaikhona" (in the same building with us at work), such thin flat cakes baked without butter, but abundantly oiled after baking, are called kutabs, and those that are not greased, like yours, are called picha non cakes. They also add thin slices of tomatoes to them, and put fresh greens, and the same suluguni ... I don't eat, since the flour is white, but I see how my colleagues eat - every day ...

It will be necessary to make such wonderful whole-grain cakes after the vacation ...
