Serbian bread Pogacice

Ingredients

milk 250 ml
salt 0.5 h l
sugar 1 tsp
dry yeast 1 sachet
flour 3-3.5 st
marngarin 100 g

Cooking method

  • Add salt, sugar, yeast, 2-3 tsp flour to warm milk. stir and let stand. until it starts to bubble. Then add the remaining sifted flour and knead a not very tough dough. Divide the dough into 12 pieces and roll into balls. Roll the ball into a saucer-sized cake. Melt the margarine. Dip each cake in margarine and overlap. (I love bread with garlic, so I spread chopped garlic between the flatbreads. But this is optional). Allow to rise for 20 minutes. Grease the top with yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 g for about 30 minutes.
