Jellied fish in a skirt

Ingredients

any fish I have pink salmon
gelatin 1 tbsp
mayonnaise 1 tbsp
ketchup 1 tbsp
greens
salt, spices

Cooking method

  • For the holidays I make aspic from trout or salmon, today there was pink salmon and decorated with what was at hand. One spoon of gelatin soaked 0.5 tablespoons of cold water for 40 minutes. For two servings I needed 0.5 liters of water, in which I boiled two pieces of fish fillets. Strain the broth from the fish, added the swollen gelatin there and warmed it until the gelatin was completely dissolved. I poured 1 cm of broth with gelatin into two small plastic jars and put them in the refrigerator. When the liquid froze, she laid out pieces of fish from the milestone, decorated (with what it was), filled it with broth and sent it to the refrigerator to freeze. Divide the remaining broth into two parts, add mayonnaise and ketchup to one and beat with a blender (you get pink color). In the other part of the broth, you can add anything you want, depending on what color you want to get. When the broth hardens in the jars, pour the pink filling there and send it to the refrigerator. In the frozen pink layer along the edge of the jar, stick a few twigs of greenery and pour the last layer and send it to the refrigerator until it solidifies completely.

Note

If you stick the greens a little shorter than mine and more often, and make the last layer a little higher, you will get such a green skirt in a circle. In general, as I planned, but it did not work out very well ...
