Apple and zucchini curds in a waffle iron

Ingredients

Soft cottage cheese 500 gr.
Large apple 1 PC.
Zucchini or small squash 1 PC.
Chicken egg 1 PC.
Sugar 3 tbsp. l. with top
Wheat flour about 1 st.

Cooking method

  • Peel and chop the apple and zucchini. Combine with cottage cheese (I have homemade), egg and sugar (if you like sweeter, then you can also 5 tablespoons of sugar). Stir in flour. Add enough flour to get a thick dough. Put two spoons in a preheated dish, smooth out slightly.

  • The default time for baking the curds in my waffle iron was not enough, so I held them for a little longer.

Note

Delicate and juicy curds are obtained, of a much more delicate consistency than in a regular frying pan, due to the fact that the dough contains less flour (the curds do not need to be turned over)
