Ingredients

Chocolate dough:
butter 70 g
granulated sugar 130 g
chicken eggs (2 pcs) 120 g
milk 70 g
wheat flour 120 g
cocoa powder 30 g
baking powder 0.5 tsp
soda 1/8 tsp
Pumpkin dough:
pumpkin puree 120-125 g
granulated sugar 75 g
chicken egg (1 pc) 60 g
vegetable oil (odorless) 50 g
wheat flour 150 g
baking powder 1 tsp
salt 1/8 tsp
1/2 lemon zest 1 tsp
vanilla on the tip of a knife

Cooking method

  • Important: all food must be at room temperature!
  • Chocolate dough:
  • Beat the softened butter with sugar, add the eggs and beat at maximum speed for 5-7 minutes.
  • Sift the flour with baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder.
  • Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the butter mixture, beat each time. We put it aside.
  • Pumpkin dough:
  • Cut the pumpkin into small pieces and cook in any convenient way (for 120 g of finished mashed potatoes, you need 240-250 g of raw pumpkin). Drain the excess water, chop the finished pumpkin pieces in mashed potatoes. Let it cool.
  • Add the egg, butter, sugar and lemon zest to the puree. Beat until smooth.
  • Sift the flour with salt and baking powder. Add to the pumpkin mass and knead the dough.
  • Grease a baking dish (24 cm) with butter. Alternately, spread both types of dough in a couple of spoons. We take a wooden skewer, immerse it in the dough and randomly drive it back and forth a couple of times to create a pattern.
  • We put the form in an oven preheated to 180 (convection 160) degrees and bake for about 50 minutes (be guided by your oven). The toothpick comes out of the finished cake dry.
  • Cool the finished cake, sprinkle with powdered sugar and ... enjoy!
