Thank you very much, Marihuna. Yes, I understand your disappointment from the hour-long preparation of custard piece or buy something smaller like 010. Eh, there is still no perfection in devices with simultaneous heating and stirring, one thing is bad in one, another is bad, and 070 was almost perfect according to the description. and for tempering chocolate. We are waiting for the icing)))
Moderators, if they pass by, please rename the topic to "Kitchen machine Kenwood KM070 - KM086", because finally they reach us under a new name so that people do not get confused.
Marihuna
Yesterday I made a cake with chocolate icing, I couldn't stand it :) The icing is primitive - cocoa, sugar, milk, at the end a little butter.
What can I say ...
The device coped with a huge 5s +

Everything worked out, hands were free, nothing was burnt. In general, I am very satisfied. Cooking on a gas stove requires constant presence and stirring. Right there, at the time of preparation, I was just engaged in the formation of the cake.

Regarding the "huge thing" ... If you don't even consider the possibility of heating, then I already wrote somewhere that you definitely need to take a model with a bigger bowl. Something like KM020. Km010 is too small for certain moments. Better still take a bowl with a margin.

Tamarix, I am now answering your questions.
1. There are three speeds on heating: minimum without a break, minimum with a break of 5 seconds and minimum with a break of 30 seconds. There is no change in intensity.
2. I don’t know what will be exactly in the KM 086 configuration, but I have a kind of U-shaped nozzle with silicone "blades" that can be removed to mix any sauces. There is also a mixing attachment that looks somewhat like a hook of a slightly different design (I mixed her eggplant caviar).
In general, the kit included: a whisk (well, sooooo cool), a K-shaped nozzle (metal), a dough hook, a stirring nozzle, a nozzle with removable silicone blades. It seems like the equipment is similar to the KM086.

Girls, I looked how much our hucksters "ask" for 086
Well this is almost 70 thousand !!!!!

Despite the fact that this is the same unit as the KM 070. Only now I bought it about 37 thousand in Kiev. If you are going to buy it for soooo money, then believe me, this vaunted induction of such an overpayment is not worth it. I believe that the difference in price between KM020 and KM086 should be no more than 10-15 thousand. And even then this is too much in my opinion.
For these "extra" 33 thousand you can buy so many things !!!!
Marihuna
But again, I will make a reservation - it is possible that there are true culinary masters among you. And, perhaps, this device will suit you.
I'm just an ordinary user, nothing more.
Marihuna
About the custard ... I've tried experimenting with temperature. The process went on for an hour at 95 degrees.
Before that, the cream burned a little at a higher temperature last time. But that's not the point. The custard needs a faster mixing speed in my opinion. Then, at higher temperatures, nothing will burn. And here the flour, thickening, falls down like a lump, and the nozzle really breaks it, cannot stir it - the speed is low.
I do not deny that, perhaps, there is an ideal technology for preparing this cream in KM070, but I have not yet "groped" it. And, frankly, I'm already a little afraid to experiment further. My time is precious now, my nerves are also expensive and I don’t want to translate food either. And all the more I do not want to spoil the final "masterpiece" that somehow my other "I" always wants to boast of
Now I do not bake so often (we are all on diet number 5 while we are sitting). There was a reason - I tried it.
If someone buys this device for themselves and feels the subtlety of making custard in it, sooooo please share it here on the forum.

Summary: if the whipping speed during heating could be changed to the maximum, the device would be super. BUT, due to its technical features, the preparation of custard from a pleasant 5-10 minute process turns into almost an hour-long dancing with a tambourine. Perhaps there are some other ways of preparing this cream that would definitely fit this device, but so far I have not liked this process in KM 070.
The instructions say: To whisk at temperatures above 60 ° C, set the speed control to the desired position, and then press and hold the pulse button. You will hear a beep while increasing your speed. The temperature and speed indicators will flash rapidly. The whipping speed will gradually increase to the value you set. Repeat the procedure to increase the speed even more. To slow down the whisking speed or turn off the mixer, follow the normal procedure. This function can ONLY be used with a whisk. Do not exceed the maximum permissible product volume of 3 liters and remember to install a protective device.
Marihuna
Looked now at the description of KM086

In general, the difference with my car:
1. The blender is glass, not metal like mine.
2. Attachment - AT647 kitchen processor, maybe a little more modern design (maybe a little more). I have AT640 (now all KM020 and 023 have such). But the principle of operation is the same. The number of disks is the same.

This is where all the differences end. Is it worth it to overpay 30 thousand in comparison with KM070 ....? I do not know...

I'll go and try it at idle, no food.

I do not understand at all whether it is worth OUR hucksters to pay such money? !!!!!!!
Marihuna
Urrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaa !!!!!!! It works!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2718877 THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!!!!! The speed changes to the maximum when heating !! I tried it on plain water, but I don't think that in another mixture it will work differently.

Well .... On Friday I will bake another Napoleon (as a gift to my mother) - I'll check it out completely. But I think now there will be no problems.

The only question is what the manufacturer calls "heat-resistant whisk"? We have just a whisk and a U-shaped heat-resistant nozzle. It seems to me that this is all about a simple corolla.

Kenwood KM070 still costs about 41,000 rubles, but we have 70,000 km86. They are selling it. I wonder who could buy goods from Ukrainians on the Internet? How are they with delivery to Russia?

The goods do not pass by weight from Ukr to the Russian Federation, since the permitted weight is 20 kg, I did not find the organizations who disbanded the kitchen car in Ukr through a friend, and he would have sent it by Train, but he strictly dissuaded, saying that they have customs officers there is a vandal !!! as a result, Germany is optimal.
2718877
Where in Germany? Can you link? If there is of course!
Marihuna
In Germany, as I understand it, not so many KM070 are sold as KM086. Although this is no longer fundamentally probably.
As for Ukraine, I bought in the Internet shop. Booked 2 weeks in advance. Upon your arrival. You need to read the delivery terms in more detail. There are many companies in Ukraine that deliver equipment to Russia. After all, KM020 is transported across Russia to Russia too ...
BUT .... I would still prefer to check the device without leaving the checkout, that is, be personally present at the purchase. You never know ...
To be honest, if I really needed this machine, I would do the following - I would order a device, negotiate with the seller the timing of my arrival, buy tickets to Kiev (the cheapest), well, I would skate for this miracle myself to weekend. At the same time I would have looked at the city. And it's easier at customs. But the box is rather big - how to carry it in the carriage ... If only sitting next to it in its place :)))
Although by car, of course, it is more convenient. In short, the above option is probably for ardent fanatics ...
By the way, not only this model is much cheaper there. I just bought a Cuckoo 1054 there - almost 2 times cheaper than in Russia. I went after her specially.
Although by car, of course, it is more convenient.

And about Germany, Kolich ordered something like that. Him and the cards in hand.

:) Well, this option is not convenient for me only because I live 6,000 km from Moscow, at least, in sunny Yakutsk :) My tickets to Kiev and back will cost like the harvester itself, but about the option with a car, I generally keep quiet about going for half a month only to Moscow
Marihuna
By the way, when I just wondered about buying this device, I wanted to order just on e-bay, but by that time I had never encountered a purchase on these sites, then the price was slightly higher (about 41-42 thousand), and the last argument was that my husband was just going to Moldova by car and passing through Kiev. In the end, everything turned out so that I bought a device with a check (everything was checked with it) and cheaper by almost 4 thousand.
2718877
I did not find it on ebay. The instructions also say: The Cooking Chef is not compatible with the following attachments: -
• Large Flexible Beater 44002 • Ice Cream Maker AT957A • Round Kenlyte 26538A jar. Is it Ak or something messed up?
Marihuna
After reading your post, I literally became covered with a cold sweat - I just bought an AT957 ice cream for her. But I haven't used it yet. That would be a shame .... NOT how much because of the money spent, how much because of the unrealized opportunity to make ice cream in this model. And the daughter is just dreaming of this process :(.
In general, I opened the instructions, I read ... In short, all the attachments that can be used (only designations, there is no time to print everything):
AT 970A, AT971A, AT972A, AT973A, TA974A.
AT910
AT643
AT644
AT950A
AT941A
AT640
AT340
AT312
Blenders: AT337, AT338, AT339
AT320A
AT641
AT930A
AT445
AT957A
AT750
Well, capacities: 36386A and 37575

And a special postscript "Major 44002 Flexible Beater cannot be used with Cooking Chef"

That's all.Maybe something was modified in KM 086 and in fact the ice cream maker cannot be used? Something is somehow strange ... I can't check it yet - the freezer is full of all sorts of goodies
Marihuna
Yes, I forgot to write that even the picture of the ice cream maker is drawn in the instructions at number 15 in the list of acceptable attachments. Probably all the same, you have not entirely correct information ... Although I will not check it yet, I cannot say for sure
Kolich
nothing was finalized there, the same eggs only in profile from km070 and 080-89 are no different, they fixed my defect at most, and that's not a fact ..

I wanted to ask you about the defect, have you tried putting a citrus juicer in a medium speed nest? The fact is that the instructions for the machine show that the juicer connects to the high-speed socket, and the instructions for the juicer show that it must be installed on the medium-speed socket. I squeeze the juice at medium speed.
OxiSK
Maybe there is no defect?
Kolich
hmmmm ..... just a citrus press, or a juicer you mean?
OxiSK
Yes, right, citrus press
Kolich
No, I haven't tried it, but does it generally fit into the middle nest there?
For some reason I immediately put it in where the defect is now, it seems to me on average it will not wrap up by km070, am I mistaken?
OxiSK
My truth is not 070, but 023, but just fits just the medium-speed socket.
OxiSK
Look in your press instructions, which nest is shown and the press head itself? Is my citrus press only going to the medium speed nest?
OxiSK
I reviewed your video, there, just like my car, the medium speed has 3 edges, and the high speed has 4, I have a citrus press (if it is turned upside down and look at the mount itself) goes to the triangular socket. Is there a mistake in my main instruction?

Marihuna
I'm telling you. 3rd attempt to make custard in this machine.
thanks again 2718877... After his advice, the process was much more pleasant and shorter. The whisk mixing speed can indeed be changed upward by holding down the "P" button. Everything worked out.
The time from the beginning of the process (laying the first products) to its end took about 20 minutes. Perhaps this is a bit too much, but with minimal participation. A portion is based on 700 ml of milk and 5 eggs. The only thing that didn’t suit me at the end was that the cream had gotten a little bit to the bowl. And where the rim touched the bowl, everything is clean. Perhaps you need to use 2 nozzles during the preparation - a whisk and a heat-resistant stirrer (it scrapes the mixture from everywhere). Or make the temperature lower (I could not stand it and set it to max 130-140 degrees)
But on the whole, I can say that everything worked out well for the first steps in the right direction. There is still something to strive for, but this is something compared to the two previous attempts.

The only thing that didn’t suit me at the end was that the cream had gotten a little bit to the bowl. And where the rim was in contact with the bowl, everything is clean. Perhaps you need to use 2 nozzles during the preparation - a whisk and a heat-resistant stirrer (it scrapes the mixture from everywhere).
Back to the instructions :): whisk, stainless steel K-tip, stirrer For better mixing, the whisk, K-tip and stirrer should almost touch the bottom of the bowl. If necessary, you can adjust the height using the wrench supplied with the appliance.
Basic steps: 1 Disconnect the appliance from the mains. 2 Lift the mixer head and insert the whisk, beater or stirrer. 3 Lower the mixer head. If you need to adjust the gap, raise the mixer head and remove the nozzle. 4 Using a wrench, unscrew the nut so that the position of the shaft can be adjusted. To lower the accessory closer to the bottom of the bowl, turn the shaft counterclockwise. Turn the shaft clockwise to raise the bit. 5 Tighten the nut. 6 Replace the nozzle and lower the mixer head. (Check the position of the nozzle, see the points above). 7 Repeat the above procedure until the accessory is installed correctly. Once the nozzle is in the desired position, carefully tighten the nut.
Heat-resistant flexible whisk - this nozzle should barely touch the bottom of the bowl.
Hook-shaped nozzle for kneading dough - the position of this nozzle is set by the manufacturer and does not require further reinstallation.
Marihuna
Everything is adjusted for me :) On the first day we tightened the nut. But the rim itself is of such a shape that its lower part touches the bowl, but its lateral parts do not. Therefore, part of the mixture is not removed from the walls with stirring. This is the part that burns.
The only nozzle that scrapes everything off is the U-shaped heat resistant nozzle. She has just the shape of a bowl. But you will not interfere with it quickly, and its shape is not for intensive mixing. That's why I wrote that it might be necessary to use both attachments. But this is not very convenient in my opinion.

Hello everyone! For a year I was sick with this car, I actually dreamed about KM 010, 020 seemed to me nuuu very big. And on New Year's Eve, as they say, what you don't want ... My husband and I made a gift for ourselves, tormented by the choice, and seeing 070, of course we chose the third option, or rather 086 (+ AT358 glass blender + AT647 processor)

By the way, before I could not find real reviews for Kenwood Chef. And only just before buying I got on this topic, although there is a bread maker, and on this forum I hung up before, but I did not see this topic .. And here .. real happy owners live.

The purchase was fun, they sold it to me through the official Kenwood dealership ... I barely questioned the bill ... I want to pay money, and they'll pay me .. Let us make a presentation for you ... Here are interesting ones. I tell them that you invest so much in advertising, but you can't really sell to a real buyer. I must say that I was worried that she was so-so warming, although I would like to leave her to fry the onions and leave ... I was convinced that she fries well, prepares stews, etc., etc. Everything will be ok.

In general, I now have five phones of the Kenwood guys ... After football, I finally really begged to be sold to me.

And so a week ago, we received a HUGE box and a bunch of little ones with attachments.

The first thing we cooked was noodles, of course. The whole family took part. We all held long pasta, they hung on all the handles of the furniture, some I dried under Ufo, which stood nearby. In short, have fun, not the word. Half was cooked right away. Half bloomed safely in my still damp unfinished kitchen.

Then there was my husband's birthday, new year. I tried to use all the functions to the maximum. Loved the chopper in the cup. Bomb! First, we have a 9 month old baby. Well it does an excellent job, grinds everything to puree. And small portions, which is important. With a hand blender, I can't even grab that amount.
Perfectly grinds spices. You can't handle so much with a mortar, but you have to stand near the coffee grinder, which is terribly annoying.

They made sausages. Great, the guests liked the wrong word ... The spices were added, the sausages were excellently stuffed, yummy. In a meat grinder on a medium contraption .. (I do not remember what is called) pork was perfectly ground with hymen. I didn't have to disassemble, everything is fine. By the way, meat for sausage was ground with an AT647 processor. Chopped very well. Honestly checked, some pieces were cut, and then for decency.

AT647 - rubbed vegetables .. great.

For my husband's birthday, I made a napoleon. Rectangular. She rolled out the dough on a roll, kneaded with a hook - and cooked the cream in a bowl ... the only failure. But you have to get the hang of it. Warmed milk in it, then added beaten eggs with flour together. Apparently it was necessary separately, or the flour was not enough. But this was the first experience, now, I think, everything would have turned out fine.

Fried onions.Today we made pasta with seafood. With spinach, pasta. And the sauce was made right in the bowl. He stirred the onions himself, then they added seafood, cream ... then the pasta itself ... All this time I was running to the child. And lo and behold, nothing burned me ...

I really wanted to rub it when I watched demos, as I often make tomato sauces myself. It didn't work at all right away, yesterday I unscrewed the nozzle a little. Better ... I read it here on the forum, which should scrape a little. We must try, maybe it will be even better. The result, in principle, is excellent, only it remains a bit too much at the top.

The potato peeler is questionable, eyes remain. My mom criticized her, but I think that you just have to get used to it, like a washing machine and dishwasher, a bit too long, but not with your hands. Yesterday I was cleaning apples on it, I realized that I had to throw apples of the same size, but in general I cleaned them, some worn out too much. But these are costs.

Biscuit bomb! Already described a hundred times!
In general, I am rushing to the kitchen now, well, I really like it.

Thank you very much for your reviews, especially Marihuna, they were decisive in the choice.
Natulyok
is it a myth or reality that the nozzle of the juicer turns away on it?
ellanna
Tell me, pliz, how long does it take for a liter of milk to heat you? Something for half an hour he can not heat in any way. In three minutes it adds a degree. And clicks somehow. When I fried the onion the other day, the oil quickly boiled, but today I tried to make soup there more than 62 degrees did not come up. I broke off longer to wait, now I decided to pour less liquid. But also barely - barely in 40 minutes 67 ran over. Maybe I need a service A ??
ellanna
I asked myself - I will answer myself. There was a service technician, finally, which I demanded for a long time at home. I had to call through Kiev, so that they called from the Kenwood dealership and explained that the car is expensive and there is no need to bring it directly to the service for diagnostics. I was terribly afraid that the car would be taken away for a month, and if it was not fixed, it would not work for me. As a result, the master came, disassembled it, made a diagnosis - the magnetron flew, if I call it correctly, then they called me and said that they would have to wait a month. (As if I have a choice.) But I am glad that he is at home, and serves faithfully. Moreover, my husband and I are waiting for young potatoes to try the potato peeler.
ellanna
Maybe besides me someone else is visiting this topic. I have a question about this model. I look at 023 the lid rises with the combine, but in mine there is a lid only for cooking ... maybe they didn't complete it? Who knows? Maybe you should order from the service?
Dr.NO
Question to owners of 70 and above. Do you have a grounded or non-grounded plug? I have a 010 like a met body, and a plug without a ground. I'm not used to it, it's a little annoying. Hotza, remake the wire and ground the housing. I saw on the import site a grounded plug on all kenwoods.
Chenka
With grounding, I guess. There is such a solid fork and a metal plate. Like this is it?
Looked at my e / teapot the same.
Dr.NO
Thank you

Brothers, why not be quiet on this branch ...
no one shares recipes.
I recently purchased cache 080, I'm trying to look for recipes, but so far very sparingly on this score.
Please insert recipes or post links if they are in other topics ...
Olga VB
Brothers, if someone posted recipes using induction, please throw a link.
For example.
If we have at least a few recipes for the induction Keshik, we will separate them into a separate branch - we will help ourselves and our fellows happily: after all, you yourself have probably already seen how difficult it is to find recipes for our Kesha.

ellannaHow did you make cakes for Napoleon, according to what recipe, so that they would normally roll on a dough sheeter?
Other users write that this is not possible ...
And how did you connect the strips into a wide layer, because on rolling they turn out narrow.
And I would really like to, because I took the rolling more with an eye to Napoleon than to noodles.
And then such a bummer ...
ZEElena
ellanna, write about the dough sheeter: how were the cakes rolled out for Napoleon? or you have a different dough recipe, people say it does not work, because the dough is tender ...
ellanna
Sorry, for absence, I do not make Napoleon according to a specific recipe, the main thing is that the dough contains vodka and cold water ... It rolls normally ... I usually do it by eye ...

Approximate recipe.

On cakes 35x25cm (7-8 cakes are obtained)
Margarine -500g
flour -0.5kg
eggs -1
vodka 2 tbsp. l
vinegar - 1 tbsp. l.
water - 125ml
a pinch of salt, 1 packet of baking powder

(The recipe is not mine, I draw your attention to this.) I make a rectangular Napoleon, it does not affect the taste ...

ZEElena
ellannaThank you, I think you helped many members of the forum, because regret sounded that some took the car and the actual dough rolling machine for Napoleon. And we "study" the forum several times. Today one question, tomorrow another.

Hello everyone. I want to give my wife a Kenwood km 084 kitchen machine. I can’t find any reviews. At first I thought to buy km 086, but it costs 70,000 rubles, and this one can be bought for 49,000. I climbed on the Internet and saw that the difference between them is what is included in the kit, because in 084 there are only 5 mixer nozzles. But the price tag is a big difference is this normal? and how is the car in general? Thank you in advance.
Olga VB
Serglezlook this topic, there is a lot about the 080th series.
And you can buy a complete set 086 for 54 sput, and with us and with an official guarantee.
And 084 is only gray, that is, with an unofficial guarantee, but, indeed, cheaper - from 46.5tr.
And the car is beautiful.

I would also consider the 020 model. Everything is the same only without induction. I have 086 and I rarely use induction. It is necessary to understand whether it is needed ?!
But you can buy attachments for the difference in price.
Olga VB
I also don't use induction as often as I would like. Basically, when you need to stir or whip while heating, but separately - not, due to the fact that if only heating is needed, then everything else also rumbles, rotates.
It is a pity that you cannot turn it on separately.
But I do not regret at all that I took it with induction, because I still use it and I like the result haaa much more than when I stood with a mixer above the stove.
You just need to weigh your needs. If it is needed once a month, then it makes no sense.
On the other hand, even in this case, if the budget allows, then why not - you look, and the appetite will come with eating.

Well, of course, it's better when there is than when not. But if I lived not with a gas stove, but with an electric one, I would have used induction much more often. I once cooked soup and was very happy with the result.
And one more thing: kneading dough. Well, it's hard to knead. I'm thinking maybe in 020 things are better. Like it or not, I need it periodically. I have no bread maker, but I have no time to use my hands, and I don’t want to.
