Swiss Apple Pie

Ingredients

for the test:
Butter 140 g
Wheat flour 250 g
Water 3-4 tbsp. l.
For filling:
Apples 1 kg
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
To fill:
Egg 1 PC.
Sugar 4 tbsp. l.
Wheat flour 2 tbsp. l.
Cream 0,5 l
Apricot jam 100-150 gr

Cooking method

  • In a bowl, combine flour and butter into grains. Made with a blender with hooks. Add water and knead an elastic dough. Roll out the dough into a 5 mm thick layer. Wrap the dough on a rolling pin, transfer to the mold and unwind again.
  • Squeeze the dough along the bottom and sides of the mold. Align the sides, and crush the rest of the dough evenly along the bottom. Pierce with a fork, otherwise the bubble will blow up! Bake the pie for 20 minutes at 200 ° C.
  • Wash, dry the apples, peel and core and cut into thin strips, about 5-7 mm thick. Stir apples with sugar. Remove the crust from the oven and put the prepared apples on it, evenly spreading it over the entire bottom. The apples are stacked as tightly as possible to each other. Bake apples in the oven for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare the fill: Beat the egg with sugar, add flour and beat again. Then pour in the cream and mix everything until smooth. Remove the crust with apples from the oven and pour the milk pour over the apples evenly over the entire surface. Return the pie to the oven for 30 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven and brush it hot with apricot jam. The cake is cold.
