I got a tefal steamer, it got over the turbo mode - now it does everything on it. I can't get to the service center, that's for sure. Recently, everything I did on it - only cottage cheese pudding - but what a wonderful thing it turned out ... ... And now everything is in thought - either a new steamer (I even picked up a model - Boshevsky) or a large multicooker (there is a small Panasonic at home ). The problem is to put a form with pudding in this device and no water dripped on it ... Please advise which option to choose?

vatruska, I do not have and have never had a steamer and when I want something steam I do it in a multicooker (I have a big Panasonic). Therefore, I am definitely for her. In addition, you can cook in it not only on the enclosed basket, but also on some suitable rack-stand. And so that water does not drip from above, many cover the mold with the cooking dish with foil or an inverted silicone mold, as for example, in this recipe https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=182747.0

We took the mulinex multicook multicooker - very happy! There is a pressure cooker and a double boiler.

So I checked it ... I took a Redmond 70, put on the airy curd pastries (all according to the recipe) - and she ran away, the spectacle was surreal - the curd mass crawling out of the air valve ... The pudding will not work either - it rises very much ...

Exactly. The management is overwhelmed. I have been telling everyone for a long time - a double boiler is one of the simplest appliances in the kitchen. And I find it funny when the electronic control of "programs", the display, etc. are stuck into it with troubles that are not needed and only lead to a rise in price, and most importantly to less reliability.
Tell me, what is the fundamental difference between turbo mode and simple mode? Or cooking vegetables, meat or fish? Yes, nothing !!!
They just knock out money without caring about reliability. I have a simple Brown for 10 years already plowing without remarks with ONE mode for steam - at least henna.
And then they came up with adding liquid during the cooking process ... I have enough water for ONE hour of work. Why do I need a phony topping service?
Or, transparent containers for observation ... What do you want to see through the WATERED container? And how? This is not an oven, by the look of boiled potatoes it is IMPOSSIBLE to understand the degree of readiness.
