Vienna strudel

Ingredients

For the test:
flour 250g
warm water 130ml
egg yolks 2 pcs
softened butter 2 tbsp. l
salt pinch
vegetable oil (for lubricating the mold)
For filling:
apples 1 kg
raisins 100g
chopped almonds 80g
sugar 100g
fresh white bread crumbs 100g
butter 100g
powdered sugar 2 tbsp. l
sour cream 130g
cinnamon 1 tsp
lemon juice 1 PC

Cooking method

  • The summer passed so quickly. Goodbye, it made us happy with warm
  • in the daytime, a climbing rose bloomed for me, like a farewell kiss of summer ...
  • I offer you this strudel recipe as a reminder of the passing summer.
  • 1. Mix flour, water, yolks, butter and salt.
  • Knead the tough dough, roll it into a ball and grease it with vegetable oil, wrap it in foil, put it in the cold for 1 hour.
  • 2. Remove the apples from the skin and core, cut into slices. Mix with raisins, almonds and lemon juice.
  • 3. Fry bread crumbs in butter (1 tablespoon).
  • 4. Roll the dough very thinly on a floured towel. Brush with half the melted butter and sour cream, sprinkle with bread crumbs. Spread out the apple filling, sprinkle with cinnamon mixed with sugar.
  • 5.Use a towel to roll the dough into a roll, place on a baking sheet greased with the remaining oil and bake in an oven preheated to 200 * for about 45 minutes.
  • Cool the strudel slightly before serving, sprinkle with icing sugar and cut into portions.
