Stewed cabbage (light) in a Brand 6050 pressure cooker

Ingredients

Cabbage 1-1.5 kg.
Sausages 5 pieces.
Pepper mix taste
Bay leaf 1 PC.
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Chop the cabbage. Pour some sunflower oil into the bowl, put the cabbage, close the lid (the pressure is normal) and select the Fry / chicken mode (this is to make it faster) or Fry / vegetables. After about 10 minutes, stir and see at the same time how much our cabbage is fried, because in practice, cabbage is always fried in different ways. Sometimes even 10 minutes. enough, and sometimes 20 is not enough.
  • This time, 10 minutes were enough.

  • Add sausages into rings (I cut them straight from the freezer), bay leaf, pepper, salt.

  • Mix.

  • Disable Frying and enable Rice mode (my default is 14 minutes), the pressure is high. After the signal, you can forcibly (first slowly) release the pressure or wait for the float to lower itself. I play it off myself.

  • And this is the bowl after cooking. As you can see, nothing burnt or stuck. Like new.

I, too, empirically came to exactly this algorithm for cooking cabbage. It turns out not watery, and not overcooked.

Yes, the cabbage turns out to be tender and very tasty. And most importantly quickly

Lena, why light at all? It turns out dark for me, but it does not shade all the same.
Elena Bo
The cabbage darkens from the degree of roasting. The darker the roast, the darker the cabbage turns out. But without roasting at all, it is not so tasty and beautiful.

Good cabbage, so we don't add water at all, only oil first for frying and that's it?

That's right, no water

Elena Bo, take praise from me.
Yesterday I decided to cook cabbage. I chose your recipe. Only I did it with pork. I fried it on "Fry-meat" a little bit. On the "Fry-vegetables" mode, the cabbage fried well in 10 minutes, but it fried longer, some more time, until the countdown started. The bottom layer fried so well, but did not stick to the bottom of the bowl, which is very pleasing (I mean that the bowl is good, the coating is excellent). Stirred and "Rice" for 14 minutes. The pressure was automatically released, opened, stirred and barely stopped herself so as not to eat (it was already too late), but I tried a spoon, what a deliciousness it turned out.
The main thing is fast and tasty. Earlier in a cartoon it took me from an hour to two for this dish.
Elena, thanks for the recipe !!!

Thank you so much for the recipe, I probably don’t remember such a delicious stewed cabbage like in Brandik, except that the one that my grandma cooked on the Russian stove. I agree with you to fry cabbage, this is a very important point.
