Ingredients

fresh ginger 1/2 tsp
lemon (zest) 1/2 tsp
salt pinch
sour cream 1 tbsp. l
soft butter 40 g
milk 100 ml
egg 1 PC.
dry yeast 1.5 tsp
sugar 50 g
wheat flour 300 g

Cooking method

  • Sift the flour, this will enrich it with oxygen and future baking will turn out to be especially fluffy.
  • You may need a little more / less flour, it depends on the quality of the flour used. All ingredients for the dough should be at least room temperature. Add butter, sour cream, sugar, a pinch of salt, an egg and a little flour to warm milk. Mix. Dissolve yeast in milk or mix with flour. For a more interesting taste of the finished product, add a little lemon zest and fresh ginger (grated on the finest grater) to the dough. Then add flour, kneading a very soft, elastic dough.
  • You do not need to pour the flour all at once, you may not need all of it, it is better to add a little after the first proofing. Wrap a bowl of dough in plastic wrap (or cover with a towel) and leave in a warm place for about 40 minutes. The dough should double in size. If after 40 minutes the dough has not increased, do not rush, let it stand still, if the yeast is normal, then it will rise in any case.
  • I entrusted the dough to the bread maker. Dough mode - 1.5 hours. Roll out the finished dough into a not very thin layer. With a glass (I have a diameter of 7.5 cm), cut out circles. Roll each into an envelope (in half, and then again in half).

  • Place three pieces in cupcake muffins. The result is just butter, sweet buns.

  • You can wrap a filling, for example a piece of chocolate, in each base circle. Or cottage cheese, jam, marmalade - that's up to you. Leave for a second proof for about 30 minutes. When the dough has come, you can grease with an egg and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake at 175-180 degrees. until rosy (this is about 12-15 minutes), be guided by your oven!
  • Done!
