My son doesn't eat rice at all. Pilaf, cabbage rolls are not for him. But this porridge - cracks with pleasure!

Tosha
Cook until rice is done? During this time, buckwheat should completely creep
artisan
Boiled down - yes! Maybe that's why she's so delicious. For a long time I myself did not dare to try to cook it. I was embarrassed by raw onions and carrots, and the same rice. But having tried it once, now we often have this porridge.
Chantal
and what kind of dressing is this "mivina"? haven't seen one
Summer resident
I didn’t see it and I don’t need it, the chemistry is one
wales
chemistry alone
yeah ... all these seasonings and concentrates are bad because they contain flavoring additives (for example, monosodium glutamate - a substance that enhances the sensitivity of taste buds ...), various stabilizers, thickeners and preservatives

In small doses, these additives are not harmful, but it is better not to use them for children, allergy sufferers and the elderly.
Although there are substances prohibited for use.

Yes, buckwheat-rice porridge is a thing! My husband does not like buckwheat, but he agrees to eat in mixed porridge, there really is a special taste. But I first fry the carrots with onions, then I add cereals there, first the rice - I chew it with carrots and onions, it becomes transparent, then I add buckwheat and water.
Such a buckwheat-vegetable risotto is obtained, one of my signature dishes in a hurry. And in a slow cooker, you can also do it, one or two and you're done.
I don't add chemistry. The taste of cereals is so awesome, especially with stewed carrots and onions, that you don't want to spoil them.
artisan
Elena4ka, I also thought about frying carrots ... but most often, I use this recipe when there is no time. It is very convenient - I threw everything and a mustache (I am lazy, however). But we’ll take a walk off the mustache holidays and will definitely try as you do.

And I usually fry lot I put carrots and onions in pots, and if there are a lot, I also freeze it in portions, in bags and 1 time. And when I need it for soup, porridge, stewed cabbage, potatoes, mashed peas - I just put ready-made frying. I have adapted so that I do not fry onions and carrots 3 times a day, I am also very lazy to do unnecessary work.

By the same principle with onions, carrots and in season with blue ones I make buckwheat-pearl barley in MV. Leaves for a sweet soul. And if you are lazy or in winter, then I often take a frozen Mexican mixture (peas, carrots, corn). I keep it in the freezer on purpose.

Does it take so long to cook? Impressions to see hunting, before I also try to cook.

I made some porridge today. It tasted better than you'd expect. Not a delicacy, but the taste is quite harmonious. With a steam cutlet and sauerkraut went with a bang
artisan
Well ... and now I want ... sauerkraut ...

I’m scared to mix two different cereals. What if they bite?

I will wait for more reviews.

Do not bite. Cook 1/4 cup of each cereal. As a last resort, the dogs in the yard will thank you. But I think I'll eat it yourself

I have been cooking buckwheat-rice porridge for several years now, and usually without any additives. Salt, of course.

Buckwheat 1 part
Fig 1 part
Water 4 parts (by volume).

Both rice and buckwheat are normally cooked.
One of my favorite cereals. It contains all the virtues of both rice and buckwheat.
Sometimes I add frozen vegetables.

Similarly

Any porridge with fried is more fun, just bothersome with butter

So I cooked porridge. And it turned out to be delicious.
Cooked as usual, for 1 part of cereal 50:50 and 2 parts of boiling water.
Here is a photo report:

No, the dogs didn't get it. For a sweet soul, my men ate with cutlets (not steam, but ordinary) and sauerkraut.

Zhivchik, and you were afraid !!!!!!
It is very pleasant that all the same porridge did not disappoint. (I myself didn’t dare to cook it for a very long time, it was dumb. Although the paradox is to try new salads, new cakes are not scary and I don’t mind the food, but here it’s just porridge, but for some reason I was so hard on it. And now for me this is the only way to shove rice into the eldest son.)
And the dogs ... I think they are not starving anyway! They will do without porridge.
Elena4ka
Yeah, Zhivchik, liked! That's the same ...
Of course, the porridge is delicious and I think that it will take root with you. Who else was afraid to cook such porridge - waited for impressions - to come out of the shadows and cook porridge.

I cook such porridge, though I take a glass of buckwheat and 0.5 cups of rice. It's such a glorious mess !!!!!!!!
And sometimes I cook it with chicken. I put chicken, chicken, rice, water, salt and on fire. As soon as it boils, I turn down the heat to the very minimum. But for some reason, for some reason, porridge is eaten first of all, and only then the chicken with some kind of salad) I put the chicken and chilled, and ice cream - the result is the same, boring)))))
artisan
But I just thought that if you cut a chicken and cook it in porridge .... porridge like naval (or either pilaf, or not it) Either I'm hungry, or it will really be delicious, but I already want to!

Lady with @ , thanks for the idea!!!!

I do this in the cartoon. When I cooked for the first time, I was afraid that mine would remain hungry, not wanting to eat such a mix. Ate with pleasure
You will need to try with meat

But I just thought that if you cut a chicken and cook in porridge ... porridge in a naval type (or either pilaf, or not it)
So I don't put it whole, I cut it into pieces, just not small ones, for example, a leg into 2 parts, a whole wing, and so on the whole chicken, that is, all pieces are approximately the same size. And then they even in porridge, even in soup, even in the oven, everything is the same)))
But we will adore this porridge, with and without chicken)
LLika_7 , try it, don't be afraid, the family will be happy)

Is it with a "crinkle"? The beauty!! And what kind of technology is it? Secret ??? Whisper in your ear

Oksanochka, I bring you a plus for this porridge. Honestly, I read it from you for a long time, and I'm cooking it, but I forgot to put the plus sign right away, but I'm getting better Porridge really liked it, by the way I diversified our menu. Previously, for me, mixing cereals was something ... When one day a neighbor said that she had cooked porridge from everything that was left in the table, it was a shock for me. Now I often cook such porridge myself!

Girls who cooked in the cartoon, on which program?

She is "skolbaskom" ...Ksyusha, I added hunting smoked sausages there, otherwise they dried out in the refrigerator to the state of Parmesan ...

Technology ... I cook pasta this way (at our Stelochka-Stеrn learned). First, I fried the onion until "gold", then there the carrots and also the roe, then cut the sausages into "noodles", then pre-washed and dried cereals and fry until the rice is transparent. I added salt, seasoning herbs, mixed, poured hot water from a teapot, brought it to a boil, adjusted the heat to minimum, closed it with a tight-fitting lid and forgot it until the cereal was completely absorbed. Something like that ...

Oh, and the day before yesterday I made such a porridge, but I forgot to write! I did it in the cartoon, first I put out the onion with the carrot there, and then I threw the cereals. Olya-MAMA SONY, I did it on "Buckwheat"! Oksanochka, THANKS for the recipe, it turned out very tasty !!!!!
artisan
Oh, how glad I am that you like it! !!!!

I myself didn’t believe in this porridge for a long time, until I tried it!
And fry the onions is certainly good !!! I also love so much, but I really liked that without frying, everything is fast, dietary and tasty! (And we will find a job on our own, no questions asked!)
