Cooking method

  • I corrected the recipe for 200 grams of flour and made some changes of my own.
  • I soaked the raisins in advance, cut the candied fruits into small pieces.
  • Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Put softened butter and sugar in the bowl of the food processor and start beating. At the end of mixing butter with sugar, the mass should have the consistency of a cream, then pour in the mixed yolks, lemon essence by teaspoon, while whisking, add water. Beat the whites in a separate container, adding salt to them. Whisk until firm peaks. Sift flour with baking powder into a bowl with an oil mixture and mix, at the end sprinkle raisins and candied fruits sprinkled with flour, mix everything. Then put the whites and mix gently, Put the dough in a mold greased with ghee, lay baking paper on the bottom.
  • Bake at 200 * C for 65 minutes. Check the readiness of the cake with a torch.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
