Cookies Maltese Tar-Rahal

Ingredients

wheat flour 200 g
sugar 200 g
butter (margarine) 50 g
egg 1 PC.
cocoa 1h l
ground cloves 1/2 tsp
lemon zest 1h l
orange zest 1 tsp
milk 20 g

Cooking method

  • Grind butter with sugar, stirring, add flour, then an egg, cocoa, cloves, lemon and orange zest, mix well and add 20 grams of milk. This milk was not enough for me for the dough (it was too loose), I added another 30 grams of milk.
  • I put the dough in silicone molds for sweets and baked in an oven preheated to 170 degrees with convection for 15 minutes.
  • You can spread the dough on a baking sheet with a spoon, leaving space between the cookies, but then it spreads into cakes
  • Cookies Maltese Tar-Rahal
  • You can sprinkle the finished cookies with icing sugar.

Note

I bake on convection, 15 minutes, 170 *, it is still raw. I add a few minutes to brown. This time there were two baking sheets, one was browned, the other removed earlier. The cookies cooled down and became like pebbles, both baking sheets. But sooo delicious stones)))
