Ingredients

flour 400 g
water 280 ml
olive oil 20 ml
dry yeast 1 and 1/4 tsp.
sugar 1 tsp
salt 1.5 tsp.
dry basil 1 tsp
thyme dry 1. tsp.
garlic oil
butter 70 g
garlic 2 cloves

Cooking method

  • Knead the dough in a bread maker.
  • While the dough is kneading, prepare the garlic oil.
  • Take 70 g of oil, crush 2 cloves of garlic into the oil (you can add fresh parsley) - beat everything and let it wait in the wings.
  • After the end of the program, put the dough on the table, knead, let stand for 5 minutes and divide into 8 pieces. We make a small bar from each piece.
  • Put on a baking sheet for proofing (20 minutes). Then we make a 5 mm cut along the top of our bars, squeeze the garlic oil out of the pastry bag into the cut and put it in a preheated oven.
  • Bake at 230 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • The crispbreads have a fragrant, crispy crust and a soft center.

In general, she did not bother with proofing in the oven, as it turned out that the minimum temperature in the mother-in-law's oven was 60 degrees. She let it sit on the table, but a little longer than in the recipe, about 35 minutes somewhere. It turned out great, the only thing, there was a lot of oil, and it leaked out, the garlic burned a little, next time I will make it more elongated, and the cut deeper! Only I, as often happens, made my life difficult. After all, kind people warned that butter can drain from buns. I tried to make cuts deeper, but somewhere in my heart I felt that it would not help. Well, once again I was convinced that my inner voice is much more prudent than the hostess herself. Oil flowed ... Only I, again, for some unknown reason, undertook to bake bread on a silicone mat. So from the rug, all this fragrant yummy flowed directly into the oven. The oil began to burn ... a pillar of smoke ... the time is 11 pm ...
In general, by 12 o'clock in the morning I was the happy owner of 8 delicious breads (the most interesting thing is that my smoke screen did not affect the taste of the breads in any way) and the oven was cleaned clean (when I was ready).
I will still bake MANDATORY! I thought about this - what if you try to make butter with garlic as a filling, and just grease it on top?
