Cool idea. My son doesn't eat fish at all. Maybe, if I "disguise" this way, I'll eat at least a little.
AlenaT
We have a similar situation)))
LLika how much (or not) the fish feels in the finished
product?

If you add very little ground walnut to the minced fish, then the fishy smell is completely absent and purely fish cakes cannot be distinguished from chicken.

And I thought about garlic, I always add it to cutlets.

Oh, girls, I'm new here ... can I advise you about the fishy smell ...

In general, in order to reduce it (FISH SMELL) in cutlets to a minimum, you just need to add a little cottage cheese to them, well, just a handful of something for that amount of products. I have been using this method for a long time - the cutlets will be more magnificent and the smell will be interrupted

We persuaded, there is catfish in the freezer, so I'll make it with nuts, garlic and cottage cheese.

And the avatar says "young baker"))))

cutlets have an interesting taste, but I can't say that fishy is clearly expressed. I ate fish cakes sooooo long ago, and if they gave me these, then I wouldn't recognize the fish there. Or maybe this is such a gourmet of me.
AlenaT
Thank you all for your advice)))
And three times to grandfathers too)))
Boom to try!
