Ingredients

Flour 1 tbsp.
Cottage cheese (100 grams in the dough and 100 grams in the filling) 200 gr.
Butter 100 g
Sugar 3-4 tbsp. l.
Dried apricots 150-200 grams
Vegetable oil 1-2 tbsp. l.
Salt

Cooking method

  • Grind 100 g of cottage cheese with softened butter and a pinch of salt into a homogeneous mass. Pour in flour, knead the dough and refrigerate for 3 hours (I left it overnight).
  • For the filling, mix cottage cheese, sugar, steamed and chopped dried apricots.
  • Unsweetened dough roll with dried apricots and cottage cheese
  • Roll out the dough into a layer 0.7-1 cm thick.Place the filling on oiled paper

  • Roll up with a roll, fasten the edges (or put the seam down), brush with a beaten egg and bake for 30-40 minutes at 180 C.

The original recipe is taken from the Kulina magazine (2011). Author E. V. Chernykh, Yelets. The original was filled with apples. I tried to do it with apples, but then the roll does not hold its shape well.

Before reading the post to the end, I thought about apples! I think that if you add semolina to the apples, then everything will hold up perfectly!

there the author had apples with an egg (as a fixative) ... but cottage cheese fills the roll better!
