Honey gingerbread

Ingredients

Wheat flour, premium 300 g
Sugar 100 g
Honey 150 g
Egg 1 PC.
Powdered cloves 1/4 tsp
Powdered cinnamon 1/2 tsp
Baking soda (baking powder can be used) 1/2 tsp
Water 40 ml

Cooking method

  • Beat an egg into the bowl of the combine, add sugar and grind until smooth.
  • Honey gingerbread
  • To make the dough dark, add burnt into it (1-2 pieces of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water, bring to a boil). Since I didn’t do the burnt, I added only 40 ml of water. I mixed everything again.
  • The dough has a softer consistency.
  • Put on a baking sheet, oiled and sprinkled with flour (I put it on a silicone mat) and flatten. I tried to make the dough look like a rectangle and put it in the oven.
  • Baking temperature 175 * С for 15-20 minutes.
  • When the cake cooled down a little, I cut it into 2 parts and let it cool.
  • Then grease one cake with jam and put the second on top.
  • Honey gingerbread
