Lentil-pea soup with smoked breast and croutons (Brand 6050 pressure cooker)

Ingredients

Any meat, you can on the bone (I have chicken pieces) 300-400 gr.
Smoked chicken breast * 150 gr. (1/2 part breast)
Potatoes 4 things.
Carrot 1 PC.
Bulb 1 PC.
Split peas 1/2 multi-glass
Lentils 1/2 multi-glass
Celery, green onion, dill, parsley - dried 0.5 tsp.
Fresh garlic 1-2 teeth
Fresh dill
Salt, pepper, bay leaf taste
Hot water
Vegetable oil for frying 1 tbsp. l.
White bread croutons to serve

Cooking method

  • Preparatory stage:
  • Wash the meat (pieces of chicken carcass). Peel and wash onions, carrots and potatoes. Cut the carrots into thin strips or grate them on a coarse grater (I cut with a Berner shredder on a 1.6 mm insert). Chop the onion. Cut the potatoes into cubes (I use a Berner shredder on a 10 mm insert).
  • Preparation:
  • Fry meat (chicken pieces) in 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil until half cooked in the Fry-Chicken (or Meat) mode. While the meat is roasting, I usually peel and cut vegetables in parallel. Roasted meat can be removed from the bowl.
  • In the remaining oil, fry the onions and carrots until the onions are transparent and the carrots are soft. Add dry herbs (celery, green onions, dill, parsley) and warm them up.
  • Add potatoes and a mixture of peas and lentils to the bowl of the pressure cooker. Sliced smoked breast. Fill with water to the desired density. This amount of ingredients usually takes me 1.5 liters. Season with salt to taste, add your favorite seasonings and bay leaf.
  • Lentil-pea soup with smoked breast and croutons (Brand 6050 pressure cooker)
  • Cook soup on SOUP mode for 15 minutes - for an updated version of the pressure cooker. For the first pressure cookers - 15 minutes on the PORTRAIT / STEAM mode, because 20 minutes on the SOUP mode is a lot, peas and lentils are boiled down during this time.
  • After the signal, release the pressure forcibly. Remove the bay leaf. Pour chopped fresh dill and crushed garlic into a bowl. Let it brew for 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve with white bread croutons.
  • Lentil-pea soup with smoked breast and croutons (Brand 6050 pressure cooker)
  • Lentil-pea soup with smoked breast and croutons (Brand 6050 pressure cooker)
  • Bon Appetit!

Note

* I smoked the breast in the Brand 6060 Electric Smoker-Pressure Cooker. (Unfortunately there is no photo)
The breast was marinated for 1 day in a solution of water and salt (1 liter of water + 2 tsp. Salt). After a day I washed and dried. And she smoked it on hot smoking for 25 minutes (alder sawdust + 2 juniper berries). 1/2 part went to soup. I made sandwiches from the remaining half.

Ksyusha, I DID it! Specifically, I ran to the super for petiolate celery, from smoked meats - chicken skeleton, meat - pork on the bone, frying on homemade lard, greens from the freezer. At first I forgot to dry the crackers, and then the girls did not have time, this is something extremely tasty! There, in the saucepan, there are still three pieces of food for dinner - it's good that the spouse doesn't know how to use cartoons, I have a chance to eat some tasty treats again!

Tatyana, I am very glad that the soup went so well!
I myself am thinking of cooking such soup again, but the children will not understand my impulses.
