Muffins with berries, fruit puree and cereal

Ingredients

Wheat flour, premium 1 1/4 cups (206 g)
Baking powder 1.5 tsp.
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Canned pineapple 1 can (420 ml)
Brown sugar 2/3 cup (144g)
Eggs 2 pcs
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l.
Cornflakes 3 cups (92g)
Oat flakes 1 cup (72 g)
Raspberry 1 / 2-1 cup

Cooking method

  • We mix all dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon. Add the oatmeal.
  • We puree canned pineapples (we first separate them from the juice) and juice from a 1/3 cup can (we set aside the excess as unnecessary). We need to break up large pieces, achieving the most uniform consistency. Particularly large parts (if any) must be removed and removed, for example into the stomach. In the original recipe for a 14oz can, that is, 420 ml, I had 580 ml, I ate one pineapple ring, deciding that now there are just as many of them as muffins need.
  • In a large bowl, combine the pineapple puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil and eggs.
  • Add cornflakes to the wet ingredients (I have Gold Corn Flakes from Nestle), mix gently until they are all wet. Then add dry ingredients.
  • ! When you make muffins, you need to make sure you don't stir.
  • Therefore, without unnecessary movements, they mixed everything, and as soon as there was no dry flour left, add the berry (took it from the freezer, did not defrost it beforehand), mixed it and put it in the molds.
  • With this recipe, it is not necessary to follow the rule of 3/4 filling, even to the very edges, even with a hill. Sprinkle on top with oatmeal (I have a minute cooking) and place a couple of berries for a more beautiful appearance.
  • Bake preheated to 190aboutFrom oven, about 20-22 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven, let stand in the mold for about 5 minutes, then cool to the end on the wire rack.
  • The aroma of raspberries for the whole house is guaranteed to you!

Kasanko
Anka_DL, wonderful muffins, you look and it seems you can smell them and what kind of cup do you have in your recipe with which you measure everything?
Anka_DL
Girls, thanks for your attention to the recipe!
Kasanko, standard measuring cup, American cup... For gram pioneers like me, the weight of the volume is indicated in parentheses. It's easier for me on the scales
Here are the measuring cups and spoons. I have others, but the essence is the same

A cup is 240 ml, American measuring cup.
Here zhesh awakened my curiosity))) I climbed to look and that's what I found.
Australia, Canada, New Zealand: one cup is 1/4 liter (250 mL), equivalent to approximately 8.8 Imperial or 8.5 U.S. fluid ounces.
Japan: one cup is 1/5 liter (200 mL).
United States (current legal definition, such as for nutrition labeling): one cup is 240 mL, as defined in U.S. law (21 CFR 101.9 (b) (5) (viii)).
United States (customary definition): one cup is 0.5 U.S. pints, or 8.0 fl oz (U.S.) fluid ounces, equivalent to approximately 237 milliliters or 8.3 Imperial fluid ounces

Poured water from my measuring cup into a measuring glass, the water level was exactly opposite 250 ml

________________________ ______________
but it could be made even easier and ask Wikipedia 🔗A cup (and why the simplest thing comes to my mind last)
As a measure of volume
European (metric) - 250 cm³
American - 237-240 cm³
English - 284 cm³
Japanese - 200 cm³ or 1 st (180 cm³)

Ie I have a standard European cup

In this recipe, the main thing is to observe the proportions, therefore it does not matter which cup is European, American or ours, but in bread you cannot do without scales.
