Ladies, dear, does anyone know an online store where you could buy a dryer for greenery? Very much praised.

Teskoma and Tappervar have dryers for greenery. And I have it at home, on the uppermost shelf in the farthest corner. All summer season I was desperately spinning greens in it, I was glad that I was shaking off so much water from it, and everything else came out somehow by itself ... And I don't think, that next summer something will change in the fate of my dryer. An extremely useless thing. But this is just my experience.

galchische, and you search for "drying (dryer) for herbs", "carousel for drying herbs", "centrifuge for drying herbs". Most likely, you will find something more affordable, there are a lot of these dryers. At Tuppervare and Teskoma, prices are painfully biting, so that later they can be pushed into the far corner. Have a good hunting!

I picked up a dryer for greens, but I would never have guessed about a carousel in my life :).

Carousel (drying) for greens and lettuce

Girls, and IKEA saw a similar thing for about 200 rubles.
Made according to the standards of this store. The main advantage is cheap. You can take to indulge

Drying for greens is good for fries - wash them well and dry them in a dryer before deep-frying them. But this is for those who love such home-like "fries".
My greens are wrinkled, I don't use them, although I bought them for this.
Anastasia
E me here is such a drying for greenery-it works on the principle of a whirligig-it is necessary to press on top of the stock and it turns. I like this principle much more than other dryers, where you have to twist the handle or pull the string, for some reason it's more convenient for me.

And in addition to greens, in such a dryer, you can instantly drain the cottage cheese from the whey (of course, by laying gauze). Fast and clean, no hang-ups.
anina

Kosha, I liked your dryer. Where did you buy it and how much does it cost?
Nat_ka
For Ukrainians: there is such a "thing" in METRO - it's called a "hand mixer". In addition to all sorts of beaters, grinders and graters, the set includes a carousel for drying greens. It costs 55 UAH.

(y) My girls are the same, only Tupper's - called "carousel" for 4.5 liters - you can dry in it not only salad and greens, especially fruits that are going to be frozen. I bought it last year and did not regret it. I washed the currants, dried and wiped them right away, although I also bought cooling trays in a tapper, so I immediately froze the pureed juice without sugar and now we drink an excellent fruit drink all winter. At the carousel, I also soaked the grapes in a 4.5-liter container, then washed, dried and eat. And the vegetables are fresh for salad, and the eggplants do not turn into shapeless pieces before frying (add, wash, dry - and do not need to squeeze, get dirty). In principle, if you want, you can find an application for any of our kitchen gadgets, and I also store bread and buns in it, crumbs are poured down to the bottom and the bread is always ventilated.

Centrifuge for greens / fruits / vegetables

I have such a centrifuge.

Carousel (drying) for greens and lettuce

Mine from dry land in it not only greens and salads, but fruits and vegetables.
Here's an example - harvesting strawberries. As you can see in the photo - the berries are whole!
I tried to dry raspberries, strawberries, red currants, cherries and other delicate berries - the result is good!

Girls, and here I am dreaming of a drying / carousel for lettuce leaves. I saw how Y. Vysotskaya twisted them in such a thing and since then I have been dreaming about it ...
In KOMFI they now stand in rows of 99 hryvnyas, do you think this thing is useful and how well does the water leave the leaves?
Qween
RybkA, I twisted them in Comfi, I wanted to buy. I was confused that the device for starting the rotation of the carousel is the same as in the old motors for boats. You have to pull the string sharply. And if not abruptly, then the rope just crawls out, and it must be pushed inside. Because of this, I did not dare to buy this carousel.
RybkA
Or maybe you need to pull sharply to create a flow / inertia? Sharply tugging is not a problem, more interested in - how effective is it? And do lettuce leaves really come out without water and not crumpled, but elastic? Otherwise, while I dry my salad, it will all wither again, but I don't like wet, it turns out like a rag

Girls take a closer look at Comfi, there were 2 types of carousel (with a string, and others with a handle on top, very similar to this one).

Carousel (drying) for greens and lettuce

To her in the set there are inserts-graters on the lid and a type of shaker for salad dressing.

Oh, I'll probably go tomorrow and buy myself this set.

And I also saw such pens as on children's toys * whirligig *, that is, you press the round, and inside the strainer with each press zzhzhik .. zzhzhik.

So I bought it for a salad ... it is very annoying wet in salads .... but I just got 3 in1 !!

I have a couple of these lying around, when, in the garage sale,
bought for penny cents ...
Luysia
Pakat, so it's not a practical device if you have it lying around?
prascovia
Hello everyone! I use this dryer all the time! I'm very happy! I washed the lettuce leaves, sometimes I tear them if they are large, put them in the dryer - a couple of passes - I get a dry salad.
Pakat
Luysia, did not take root very well, it is easier for me to shake off the lettuce leaves than to get and turn these dryers, and then wash them ...

Pakat, it's easier to shake off, but there is practically no sense from shaking off - the leaves are still with water drops.
prascovia , and how dry the leaves are? I understand that they are not completely dry, but still ...
In general, I'll go and spin them in the store one more time ...

Hello! I take out an absolutely DRY salad! It all depends on the quantity.

Rita
I, too, this "salad dryer" did not take root. He is so big! Once you use it, then wash it ... then it dries up, takes up a lot of useful space! You can, of course, wipe and remove, but then it turns out so much fuss for drying a bunch of lettuce!
In general, lying around uselessly.

I will argue with you. In the Carousel I make cabbage cut for filling into pies - I fill it with hot water t 80-90 gr. for 15-20 minutes, close the lid and then drain and scroll the water, removing the remaining liquid. Blanching vegetables. Any berries of mine (strawberries and raspberries do not even have time to crumple), I scroll my grapes and stories; potatoes (it is good to wash and dry the potatoes for -fries), mushrooms - in a word, nothing wrinkles and a rather voluminous colander. And it is also convenient to store a watermelon or melon in it (they stand firmly), but especially those already cut into pieces - they last longer, since the juice flows through the sieve into the container itself and does not sour.I discard the cottage cheese (putting it in a gauze bag and scrolling it several times). I just finished processing the cherries: I removed the seeds, played 3-4 minutes in the carousel, allowed it to settle, drained the resulting juice (it has no pulp!). I played it one more time. Juice into a jug, and the remaining berries in the Carousel went into dumplings and pie.
LiudmiLka
Leska, what a clever you are. I didn't even think to use it that way.

Rita, what size is your salad dryer and why is it difficult to wash it?

Leska, your words are a balm for the soul! I bought this thing today. Now I will know that it is not in vain!

Carousel (drying) for greens and lettuce

I bought it at COMFY (109 UAH). And most importantly - no rope!

Girls, the other day I was in Ikea, there are carousels. I don’t remember the price, but it seems like 300 rubles. I took it back in the same place in Ikea last year, I’m happy. Good thing.
DJ
Girls, today became the owner of the carousel. I ordered it in Ikea and it cost 100 UAH with delivery.
Luysia
Moderators, we have two identical Temks.

Let's combine this theme with the theme Salad dryer

Greenery begins and the question arose: is it worth buying a dryer (carousel) for greenery?

A separate question for Luysia: Did you like this "piece"? I see there are some graters, right? What else are you doing in it?

And I just have a carousel without lines. I wanted to for a long time, but it was not up to her. I bought it last year - I'm very happy, I'm happy. Dry greens are much nicer, and the salad does not drain later.

Definitely worth buying!

I have such a green drying

Carousel (drying) for greens and lettuce

In addition to greens in the summer, I wash and dry berries for laying in the freezer, even raspberries with strawberries - it turns out very cool!
Anna1957
I squeezed orange juice in my brand new MUM 5 and thought: why not use this centrifuge at 1 speed as a dryer for herbs, squeezing whey from cottage cheese and sour cream? And I'll try to cook candied fruits from the remaining crusts - I cut them into beautiful cuttings and threw them into the freezer. I just don't know. how the remaining partitions will look on them
I tried it - you can dry the greens at speed 7, just cover them on top so that they don't fly apart (I use a bath cap with an elastic band)
Pinky
And I bought myself such a dryer in winter Carousel (drying) for greens and lettuce I was looking for just a carousel, but only this one came across. I dry potatoes in it for frying, herbs for salads. Well, in the summer, of course, it will be more popular.

Great, another plus. I'll see what the stores have. I see on the topic that there are few variations: with a rope, with a handle, or whirligig.
julifera
yara - Do you have a Silpo network?

There are two types of dryers on sale - cheap - twist the handle, around 50 UAH, I don't remember exactly, and the expensive one for 160 UAH is like this, and the color is the same:

Even if you just dry the crumbled and washed potatoes in a carousel for frying, they get much tastier and shoot much less

yara, I do not Luysia, but I have exactly the same dryer.

The dryer is great and the graters are terrible. I honestly tried to try every grater in practice, but after 2 seconds it became clear that these are the worst graters that I have used.

I believe about graters, I myself have come across such. But I don’t need them. Tomorrow I’ll go to Silpo, julifera says there are two species there. I think that the carousel for 50 UAH. will be without graters, and if you like it I'll take it.

Thanks to your advice, I bought and already successfully use this type of dryer for herbs (photo by Luysia):
Carousel (drying) for greens and lettuce
Now I don’t make a single salad without it. I’ll not say that the greens are all dry, but they don’t flow from them, especially the onions. It is much tastier to eat salads only with dressing, without water
Now I'm waiting for the fruits and berries to appear, I will also "carousel" them.
Creamy
I have such a multi-station dryer. I sewed a bag from the finest organza and put yogurt into it, and of course the bag in the dryer, I get cottage cheese. Or in this bag I dry-twist washed raisins or washed and steamed poppy seeds for baking.
