Ingredients

UHT milk 2 p.
Kefir fermented with kefir fungi 1 glass
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Wash and pour boiling water over the bowl and the removable lid. Pour 2 liters into a bowl. milk, add 1 tbsp. l. sugar and 1 glass of ready-made store-bought fresh kefir made on kefir fungi. I used this
  • Kefir in Brand 37502
  • Stir well. Put in the multicooker by closing the lid and select the Dough 2 hours mode (unfortunately this is the maximum time). We need 6 hours, so we have to come up and turn on the mode again every 2 hours.
  • After 6 hours we get a wonderful, thick, delicious kefir.

  • The shelf life of such kefir is 5 days.

Kefir is really very thick, even after stirring. There was not a drop of serum.
So that it is not so thick, you can try to look at it in 4-5 hours. Or pour less starter. I honestly did not expect such a result.

Kefir almost always turns out to be thick, if you make it from ready-made, for this I take our Ukrainian children's kefir "Zlagoda" - 200 gr. a bottle for a liter and a half of milk. On VIVO sourdough or Bulgarian Lactin it is a little thinner and sour, especially the Vivo sourdough "sour".
I made kefir many times, and in a yogurt maker, when I was in a slow-cooker-multicooker, but not on special modes (they are not there), but I just heat water and milk to the same temperature and leave it in jars overnight.
You will have to try with sugar again
