Jam and wheat flour cookies

Ingredients

Jam 1/2 stkn
Vegetable oil 1/2 stkn
Semolina 1/2 stkn
Egg 1 PC
Salt pinch
Soda 1/2 tsp
Wheat flour 2.5 stkn
* glass = 250 ml

Cooking method

  • Beat the jam with a mixer or blender with vegetable oil. Add the rest of the ingredients and knead the dough. Do not add all the flour at once, it took me a little less. The dough should be soft, but not sticky to your hands. Put the finished dough in the cold for 1 hour.
  • Then form walnut-sized round cookies.
  • Bake in the oven at 180aboutFrom 20-25 minutes.
  • Decorate with icing sugar or icing.

Note

This time I baked from currant jam and did not beat it with a mixer so that the berries remained. If desired, you can add nuts to the cookies. From this amount of products, I make 35 pieces of delicious crumbly cookies! For those with a sweet tooth, sugar can be added to the dough when whipping jam.

Enjoy your tea!

Vitalinka, well, you're a cookie master ...

Do you need to extinguish soda or not?

I don't think so. The "quencher" is jam. Just like honey extinguishes soda.

I often have "experimental" jam at home, which my mother loves to treat me so much, although she knows that I am a conservative and eat only jam made from "noble berries", like raspberries, strawberries or currants. And since I do not like to throw away food, I am in constant search: where to attach the next jar, and also dried apricots and prunes from compote, which no one eats with us. The last jar is a masterpiece of someone's ingenious idea - lingonberries with beets, well, I could not find an application for it, you can't put it in a compote, I don't like pie with jam .. And here this recipe - a huge human thank you for it!
The only thing, I thought, that "dispose of" only half a glass of jam at a time is somehow childish, besides, I also had fruit from compote
In general, I kneaded a double portion, put these fruits + jam + sugar and baked a mountain of nuts.

I bathed some of the resulting cookies in syrup, which I had left from the preparation of super-delicious Melomacaron cookies and sprinkled with nuts, some sprinkled with powdered sugar ..
and I liked the process and the result so much that after a few days I decided to bake this cookie again, of course, again a double portion (my husband and child only have enough for two days) only added seeds to the dough, instead of oatmeal - Belovodye 4 cereals grains, Well, the fruit composition is the same, but .. I also replaced some of the vegetable with butter ..
I rolled out part of the dough and cut out the figures (well, I just really wanted to try new cuttings), baked some with nuts ..

And I don't have jam, but grated black currant from the freezer, sour, grated with a minimum amount of sugar .... Probably, I still need to add a glass of sugar to cookies? Will there not be a lot of sugar so that the biscuits would not burn from it ... something I'm all in doubt ...
Vitalinka
lillay, add 1/2 cup sugar to start. Well, then you will try and feel you need it more or not. If the cookies are not sweet, they can be sweetened by sprinkling with powdered sugar.
lillay
Exactly, I somehow forgot about the powder! Thank you, Vitalinka
I am beautifull
Can I have jam with berries, I have gooseberries and black currants?

Vitalinka, Thank you!!!! Today was a day when you wanted something tasty, and the filling of the refrigerator and kitchen shelves left much to be desired. My query in the search engine sounded like this: cookies from what was "but there was an apricot jam and 1 egg!
Baked in the princess, in two passes. It turned out super! For such a minimal set of products, it is simply a masterpiece! The youngest ran and shouted - yummy! Sprinkled with powder and coconut.
Soon post, I think without an egg, too, should work. Nobody tried it?
I even took a picture of my creation, I don't know how to insert it.
Thanks again. The recipe is a lifesaver for a tough day!

S * lena, thanks for updating this recipe in the feed
Vitalinka, and how could I miss a recipe like this? Only today, with longing, I contemplated the shelves with jam in the basement and thought that summer was coming soon, and I still had a lot of jam left.
Gingerbread man and gingerbreads are already tired, now we must also try your cookies
S * lena
True,. delicious!. I also cannot destroy apricot for the third year. I always baked a pie with him on kefir, cookies are a discovery for me.
For me, the association is more with gingerbread. My head ached, horror. I sculpted koloboks with my fingers
flattened into a princess. There was no strength to light the oven. But it turned out delicious. I will repeat, this is unambiguous!
Vitalinka
S * lena, nila, girls, bake to your health! I'm glad that the recipe helped you and you liked the cookies!

Thank you for the recipe and for the idea of adding jam. Did it several times already. I have become completely insolent, I pour in bad jams, syrups from candied fruits and dried fruit and separately and mix. I mix various bran there, cereals, ground cereals for greater benefit, I must also try sesame or raisins there)))) and cook quickly if you want something sweet. They taste not very sweet, just right for us
Vitalinka
tany81, well, you are an experimenter! I am glad that the recipe stuck with you and became a lifesaver. Bake with pleasure!
S * lena
As promised, I tried the option without an egg today. Instead, a tablespoon of starch spilled. Part of the flour was replaced with oatmeal, which does not require cooking. Baked in the Princess from the cold 15 minutes, the second run -10 minutes.
True, I didn't have balls, I baked cookies. The jam was currant.
I liked the lean version, the lukewarm one was crumbled, it will be delicious!

Now I have entered the kitchen, my husband is hamstering with great pleasure. I tried it, but it became so cool, crunches and crumbles in the mouth. Bomb. I even liked it better than my last opat with an egg and balls. I don't know, maybe it is so crispy due to the oatmeal, but Very, Very, Very!
Vitalinka
S * lena, cool cookie cookies!

And what a delicious! Today with morning tea! Crunches .... thanks again for the idea! I really enjoyed the oven with the oatmeal.

Thanks a lot for the recipe. This cookie has become a duty in the family. It is baked very quickly in a sandwich maker, literally in an instant, and, depending on the jam and combination of spices, each time a new taste.

MOLLLY, I understand that the result will be large triangles?
I have a small Supra multibaker, which makes cookies about 8x5x6 cm with rounded corners. Somewhere the size of a standard commercial oatmeal cookie (which is not small), but not round, but triangular.
Unfortunately, I can hardly insert a photo)
-Elena-
MOLLLY, Thank you!
Vitalinka
-Elena-, you've got a wonderful cookie! By changing the jam, we get a new taste of cookies every time!
Thanks for the report!
