Vegetable stew in a slow cooker
Category: Vegetable dishes
Ingredients
Potatoes 3-4 pcs.
Small squash
or part of a large
Tomato 1-2 pcs.
Bulb
Carrot
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Greens
Salt. pepper, seasonings to taste
Cooking method

The number and composition of vegetables can be changed at your discretion and taste.
Cut potatoes, zucchini into large squares, tomato into slices, onions in half rings, carrots in slices, garlic not finely. My husband is a meat-eater, for all this disgrace I cut a piece of beef into cubes, I would just make vegetables for myself. Pour oil into the cartoon, put all the vegetables, salt, pepper, mix and for the Pilaf program. All! It turns out absolutely not watery, evenly cooked, aromatic dish.

The dish is designed for 3-4 servings
Note
Vegetable stew without the hassle. Very fast and very easy.

And I would also throw beans and eggplants here. Oh, I love all sorts of stews

I would add green peas and eggplants, but they were not there, but in general, stews are an excellent fast and dietary dish, which also leaves room for fantizia

Yesterday I cooked it. Stew turned out - fly away! I have had a slow cooker for many years. But I only cook porridge in it, and carcass the meat in my own juice. All. It would never have occurred to me to stew vegetables on the pilaf program. But the result exceeded all expectations.
I slightly changed the composition, added eggplant, coriander, leeks, a little sugar. But it's not just the composition. The main beauty of this dish is that every vegetable was visible. The structure of the dish is excellent.
Thank you!

What program can you replace with pilaf?

What program can you replace with pilaf?
The one on which the porridge is cooked.

Obligaciya, did you add water?

: hi: Today I will try to cook with frozen mushrooms. The recipe is very interesting, it should probably turn out that the dish is not watery, because it is being prepared on pilaf ?!

: hi: It's done! I put a layer of potatoes, frozen mushrooms, onion in half rings, zucchini, pepper, tomato. there was no mayonnaise in the house, then I took and added a little vegetable oil. Incl. "pilaf". It took about an hour to prepare. I opened it, salted it, added seasonings and set it to "maintain" for 20 minutes. Nothing is burnt, everything looks very nice. Thanks for the tip to cook this way.

I just recently became the happy owner of the Redmond RMC-M4504 multicooker-pressure cooker, and the first dish cooked in it was a vegetable stew. Recipe from the recipe book: white cabbage and tomatoes (200 g each), bell pepper, zucchini, onions, carrots and eggplant (150 g each), salt and spices. [I didn't have an eggplant, but it worked great without it]. Cut all the vegetables into cubes [I grated the carrots, chopped the cabbage, finely chopped the onion], put in the pressure cooker, add salt, spices and mix. Close the lid, set to the value "SEAL". Use the "Function" button to set the "VEGGIE" mode. Cook until the end of the mode. After the sound signal, set the valve to "VENT" and release steam.

It turned out surprisingly tasty. It was a side dish for chicken in sour cream cooked in the Multichotter.

It turned out to be a very tasty stew! I cooked with what was in the freezer - with asparagus beans, zucchini, peppers, tomatoes. Garlic was added as in pilaf - with whole cloves. The vegetables turned out to be whole, nothing crawled, the bottom slightly grabbed, which only added taste.Auto RU

The first dish cooked in a slow cooker was this delicious vegetable stew. It is elementary to prepare, which is why it was chosen as the first culinary multicooker experiment
Everything that was at hand in the country went to the stew - potatoes, zucchini, carrots, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, garlic. I cooked in Plov mode. Everything turned out great, appetizing and very tasty.
The recipe has been adopted! Summer is still ahead and there are still a lot of vegetables in the garden.

Girls, do you add water or not?
LudaTim
I cooked without water. There is a lot of natural liquid in vegetables, the stew turned out to be very juicy even without water

I also made a stew in Deksek. First, I fried the meat, added potatoes, then blue ones and zucchini, then put cabbage with onions and tomatoes. Stirred, salted and put rice on the program. There was a full bowl, after the end of the program 1/3 remained. It turned out yummy !!! I advise everyone. There is a recipe for the baking program, but I somehow hesitated and decided to follow these recommendations. I did not add water at all.

Thank you! What a good recipe. I did it exactly according to it, it fit perfectly for my Weissgauff MC1050G.

So many years have passed, I wonder if no one has looked here! Today I saw the recipe and tried it, I didn't know what to do with the zucchini! Thank you very much, very happy with the root. The only zucchini, because of its freshness, was stewed. In general, a very good option with the pilaf mode. And then usually this extra liquid in vegetables spoiled the taste!

And how I missed such a cool recipe. It must be transferred to the topic of lazy advice (I hope I said correctly).

Girls, and if there is no pilaf program in my multicooker (dex 60), which one is better to choose rice? Buckwheat? Milk porridge?
cvetlk
I used to do extinguishing on the program, but I didn't like that there was a lot of liquid. And here there is very little liquid. Maybe the buckwheat program, I don't like the rice program in my multicooker, rice is tastier on the stove.
torbochka
Marina22, Marina, hello! If there is a "Vegetables" program - then this is what you need! I'm just not familiar with this company and the model of the multicooker.
Oh, this is probably a multicooker without a pressure cooker function? I am guided by my cartoon pressure cooker, where there is such a mode, sorry!
cvetlk
What is good about the pilaf program is that it evaporates liquid, and vegetables also give liquid. Sorry for intervening
Marina22
cvetlk, torbochka, cvetlkthanks girls. I have a multicooker without a pressure cooker function.
I do not have a mode of vegetables. But since I need a program with liquid evaporation, then I have to choose between rice or buckwheat modes.
VolzhankaD
rather rice, I have a "buckwheat" program, it is 25 minutes, and the "pilaf" program is an hour. Or fry the onions and carrots on the "fry" or "bake" program, fry the courgettes, add the rest and switch to "buckwheat". When I cook a lot of buckwheat on "buckwheat", I add 10 minutes.
Marina22
VolzhankaD, thanks a lot for the advice. Only I would not like to fry first. I would like to, like the author of the recipe, throw everything, turn it on and leave.
