Waffles without eggs (lean)

Waffles without eggs (lean)

Ingredients

flour 2 st
sugar 2/3 st
vanillin taste
water 350 g
vegetable oil (I took sunflower oil) 100 g
soda (extinguish) 1/3 tsp
optional cinnamon, zest, poppy seeds or whatever you like

Cooking method

  • Stir dry ingredients. Knead the dough without lumps by adding water. Add vegetable oil and mix the dough again. Bake the waffles on the waffle iron.
  • I have a Soviet waffle iron, and I oiled it only before the first dough.

Note

The waffles are delicious and crispy. If not stuffed with cream, then you can put a glass of sugar, and not 2/3, so that they are sweeter.

Glass = 250 ml.

The recipe from here - 🔗

Bon Appetit !

What are fried treats
Qween
Thank you, Vikusya. They are tasty . In general, I do not like baking with vegetable oil, but here it is not felt.
tsvika
And vegetable oil - is it sunflower oil or something else?
Qween
I added Oleina sunflower. You can pour corn or whatever you like.
tsvika
I will definitely bake. I also have a Soviet waffle iron, so 80s
Qween
Yeah, mine is also 82 years old. She still has her passport with her.
julifera
Qween - please, boom try!
All hands did not reach the vegetable test, now you can safely do
BlackHairedGirl
Thank you!!!
Qween
Girls please.
The next day, the waffles are as crisp as after baking.

I stuffed some of the tubes with boiled condensed milk, then they became a little soft. And the tubes without filling remained crispy.

I spread the boiled condensed milk on a hot waffle, and then immediately rolled it into a tube. Condensed milk did not leak out, and then you do not need to take out the syringe to make tubes with condensed milk.
Qween
Today I baked the tubes again. Made small changes to the recipe. The tubes turned out to be even tastier and more beautiful:

Waffles without eggs (lean)

Here is a closer waffle, so that you can see how porous it is:

Waffles without eggs (lean)

The changes are:
Flour 280 g + potato starch 40 g. And I replaced the soda with 1 tsp. baking powder. Such small changes, but it is very noticeable in the taste and appearance of the finished products.

And you can't say that these waffles are lean, they turned out to be rich and crumbly. At first I thought that I would only bake lean ones if necessary, but now I will write this recipe with today's changes in my notebook, in which I have the most popular recipes.

Great recipe !!!! It's time to get ready for the fast, where the husband regularly sits. And I am a vegan in life, so for me it is even more relevant, but I will have to buy a waffle iron ... I did not have such a rarity, although I remember exactly my mother had it))))

I will introduce one more change to this recipe - soy milk, I have such a dough for lean pancakes, with milk they are even more real! Then I brag about the result !!!

Bon Appetit everyone!!!

And many thanks to the author !!!!

Yesterday I baked waffles for my mother - I had enough current for 3 pieces - on the third I barely opened the lid at the Brandovskaya waffle iron - at which Azure 600. Yes - it turned out beautiful and crispy, but it was scary ... once ... From the rest of the dough I mixed lean pancakes ...
Qween
This is yeah. I, in fact, have Soviet waffle iron, they don't have a non-stick coating. Those waffles that in the first photo were baked on an 82nd waffle iron, and the second ones on a waffle iron seem to be a year younger than the first. Absolutely these waffles did not stick, well, not a gram.

Did you warm the waffle iron well before the first tab? Maybe she's not warmed up enough?

Warmed up normally, the first took off even easier, the second glued the waffle iron, but still somehow opened, but the third barely opened at all and decided not to risk further. Can't this recipe be on a non-stick oven?
And the waffles turned out to be good - it's even a shame that I could not fry the rest ...

I have never baked on a non-stick waffle iron, but it seems to me that, on the contrary, they should not be sticky. It is strange, of course, that it stuck so strongly. Here the waffles stuck, but was it also difficult to shoot? Didn't the waffle particles remain on the waffle iron plates?
NatalyMur
There was nothing left on the plates - the dough did not stick (hardly true). When I lifted the lid to see if it was ready or not, it was like that, the edges were firmly glued to the bottom, and the middle in waves, it is clear that I had peeled it off from the top by its lifting ...
It's a shame - because the waffles are light, airy, straight, crispy ... Super awesome ...
Qween
Strange ...

Maybe, if you decide to bake again, I suggest adding butter to the dough, or brushing the waffle iron plates with a brush.

Actually, this is the first time I've heard that waffles stick to a waffle iron.

PS: Here's another thought:
Could it be that they forgot to add butter to the dough?

NatalyMur
Rust oils I added it as per the recipe, then added it again, but the film became even worse ...
So I'm surprised - non-fasting recipes are baked in flight, never stuck
Qween
Wow ... It's even weirder that it got more sticky after adding oil. I don't think it depends on the oil.

Qween, baked the first waffles in my life today. I took your original recipe, but instead of sugar I put fructose and did not add vanelin. The result is crispy, moderately sweet. I didn't manage to twist it into a tube, I will still try. I left it round like pancakes, it turned out to be a whole stack, like in a pancake. Thanks for the recipe. My husband and I liked it.
Qween
Hummingbird, to health.
The waffles should be wrapped as soon as they were removed from the plate, since they cool quickly.
Hummingbird
That's what I wanted. But I either made the dough too thick or overexposed the waffles, but they did not want to curl. I will try. I want to add another flour. There are oatmeal, buckwheat and rice. We need to attach.

And from a stack of waffles 1 thing remained
LudMila
Great recipe, everything worked out great! Real lean !!!
I added a little sesame (sprinkled on the eye, spoons one and a half or two) and vegetable oil took 50 g of sesame and 30 g of sunflower. Therefore, the amount of water had to be increased a little, otherwise it was thick.
I baked in the Cloer waffle iron on the 2.5 mode for about 4 and a half minutes, I did not roll it into tubes (I like it more and store it more conveniently, Taper's round aquacontrol just fit in size).
tsvika
Thank you so much for the waffles. : flowers: Bake several times already. They leave instantly. I put less sugar. This is an experiment with cocoa and some simple waffles
Waffles without eggs (lean)
Qween
Girls, good health!

tsvika, beautiful waffles! I baked with cocoa several times, but we like it more without it. How did you go?

tsvika
They went well with boiled water, but I liked it more without cocoa ..
I want to make it with poppy seeds. It's that simple in less than an hour, such deliciousness is obtained. Truth and fade quickly
Hummingbird
The other day I was baking waffles again. I made 3 batches. In each portion, other flour was added to the wheat flour: rice, oat and buckwheat. I slightly reduced the amount of sugar. The waffles disappeared very quickly. I like the basic option (wheat flour only), and I like it with oatmeal and rice. Delicious!!!
Ukka
Anya, thank you for recalling the old forgotten, but once favorite recipe !!!
Miss Raspberry
Qween, I also got waffles !!!
With great difficulty, I opened the waffle iron, glued tightly, and opened it to tear off the waffle from the plates ..... although I did everything according to the recipe.
The waffles taste just wonderful, the whole family really liked it.
Tatoshenka
So I have the same problem, they stick, they glue the waffle iron, so that I can't open it, I open it with a wooden spatula, making an effort, and then pick it out.
It's a pity, the waffles are incomparable, very tasty, I cooked them all over.
NаStyа
The waffles are super !!) I also want ... Girls, I’ll be off topic a little, but who has what kind of waffle iron? (Pros and cons? I want to buy a waffle iron for such tubes, I looked after Sweetheart and Gourmet, can anyone have such or something else?
auntyirisha
Today I baked in a grilled waffle iron "shteba" according to an improved recipe with starch, it turned out great! Delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
sahar ok
I love everything sweet, and then I saved myself on the absence of eggs. I used to think that only eggs will make the dough. Thank you!

Good evening!
Baked today according to your recipe with starch, it stuck slightly, but that's not the problem.
The smack of SUNFLOWER OIL is very felt !!!!
There is also a taste of bitterness, although in raw dough there is nothing like it. I still didn't understand what was the reason, maybe vanilla (I spread it in 50 ml of water and flew into the dough) this was the only deviation from the recipe.
I do not see the point in saving on 3-5 eggs so to lose as a product. We do for ourselves and our children!
After reading the reviews, I was sure that it was worth it, but NO !!!! Just disappointed
There are more decent recipes on the forum, well, maybe they are more expensive.
Sorry for being straightforward! But I am writing more for those who will be looking for an interesting recipe without losing taste.
ychilka
Sema, you shouldn't be so .. Good recipe, it's a pity that not everything worked out for you ... Bitterness can be from low-quality or unrefined butter ... It's not about saving ... Many people do not eat butter and eggs for their own reasons or because of intolerance to certain foods, they fast. Such recipes are simply necessary, they do not simplify the taste at all, they make the menu of such people more diverse.
Sema
I wrote an objective opinion of my family !!!!
The children refused to eat the COMMON! My husband and I have to finish up the result of my labors. Yesterday I was not too lazy to go to the store at 20.00 for sour cream to fill them with curd cream. But today I decided that I will not take a steam bath, it will hardly help. OIL, refined and without bitterness, it has already tested itself on yeast pancakes, bread, salads.
If YOU are discussing a RECIPE that is suitable for people with limitations !!!! yourself for whatever reasons and concepts, then indicate it in the comments. I've been reading this forum for about eight years now, I take recipes from here, I started baking bread from here. Such unsuccessful and "vaunted" recipes did not come across.
I wrote a review for those who will be looking for something tasty !!!! THIS is not for THEM. There is a recipe for "Giraffe" on this forum, it's just SUPER !!!
Ingredients

Margarine (butter can be used) 200 gr
Egg 5 pcs
Sugar 10 tbsp l
Flour 10 tbsp. l

These waffles were eaten in flight without waiting for the filling.
I didn't try to offend anyone here !! This is the opinion of several people on the result and as far as we know CHILDREN are the most objective judges.

I didn't try to offend anyone here !!

They didn't strive - they offended! And judges here, in the author's kitchen, can never be!
And your opinion cannot be considered objective. Objective opinion here Taste and smell are always individual for each person!

If the taste of the finished dish is not to your taste, this does not mean that the author and other people are bad - it means that the taste of the dish is not yours!
So, you need to silently walk by, and not offend the author of the recipe.

And how do you do in the store if you don't like the taste of the sausage? Run to the store to return the goods and write a complaint? Or you will sniff at home on the sly and you won't take this product anymore.
So here, we pass silently past the recipe

And as a hostess to a home cook, a lot should have suggested the name of the recipe "Waffles no eggs (lean)"This already says a lot that the waffles are specific lean. And you could immediately predict the effect of vegetable vegetable oil in large quantities in the recipe. And if you (and especially children) do not eat it, then why put it in the dough?"
You need to understand the products, their properties, and take this into account when cooking for the whole family. You could cook a little for a test and try it yourself, and then bake for children in large quantities.
So, there is no need to present a claim to the author - your fault! And it is advisable to remove your claims from posts

Admin, and who and what did I see ??? Only by the fact that I wrote my opinion and did not like it? Can you only clap your hands here? You wrote such a long answer very quickly! I have not seen the rules of one hundred on the forum here you can only write laudatory reviews.
I'm not trying to convince YOU! Eat to your health !!!

Admin, and who and what did I see ??? Only by the fact that I wrote my opinion and did not like it? Can you only clap your hands here? You wrote such a long answer very quickly! I have not seen the rules of one hundred on the forum here you can only write laudatory reviews.

Therefore, there are only positive reviews in the topic, that people appreciated this recipe, in this recipe, and everything suited them to their taste. Other users preferred to pass by in silence, since this is not their recipe - and they did the right thing!

The Forum is a club of interests and tastes! And you don't need to offend people who don't match your taste!
This may not be written in the rules (such specifics), but it says that you need to respect the author's opinion and take care of his recipes.
Kara
Sorry for being straightforward Sema(You are guided by this principle when you write reviews), or maybe your hands are crooked?
ychilka
Sema, by the way, I didn't get Giraffes, apparently my hands are crooked)))) I also live on this forum, I started to cook a lot from here, a lot did not work out, but not from the fact that the author posted such a recipe, while others praised it, but from the fact that the products are different, technology, hands in the end!

And what is most obvious, to sit on the forum for eight years and register now to express your phrase ...
Dynusya
Thanks for the great recipe. The waffles are crispy, tasty and hassle-free. My first and so successful. Thank you
Babovka
Qween, thanks for the recipe. I'll try to cook it with soy milk.
Tatiana S.
Qween, thanks. Well, just like a custom-made recipe. A friend just gave me a waffle iron from the late 80s, she was lying idle with her, and I was thinking about purchasing. While I was going to try it, it came to the post, it's a shame. And here is your recipe. I will definitely try, but I have taken the recipe to the bookmarks for now.
kavmins
interesting recipe! I will definitely try it in the post, especially since there is a Soviet waffle iron ..)))
Albina
I'll take it to bookmarks 🔗
