Chicken cutlets with lentils and feta cheese

Ingredients

chicken fillet 500 g
red lentils 100 g
cheese 100 g
onions (medium) 1 PC
curry 1 tsp
olive oil and butter for frying
almond flakes for breading 30-50 g

Cooking method

  • 1. Boil the lentils, cut the onion into small cubes and fry in a mixture of olive and butter until transparent.
  • 2. Make minced meat from fillets. Add boiled lentils and cheese and beat with a blender until smooth. Then add onion and curry and mix well.
  • 3. Form cutlets, breaded in almond flakes (it is better to grind them a little in a blender beforehand) and fry in a mixture of oils until tender.

Note

The cutlets are juicy, with a delicate texture and a crispy crust. Light and satisfying at the same time, they are good with any vegetable salad. If you don't like curry, you can use a chicken spice mix.

NatashaYou can also use green lentils. It's just that red is cooked faster and the cutlets inside are of a pleasant color. You can also take fetaks. If Almette, then you need to salt. You can take lightly salted feta cheese.

Tanyusha, you can do it with garlic. Instead of curry, I used a chicken spice mix. Can be made simply with pepper, paprika and herbs (dill, parsley, basil). And Russian cheese is not very good here, it is better (in my opinion) feta cheese or soft goat cheese.
