Mashed potatoes (from my childhood) in a Scarlett multicooker

Ingredients

Potatoes 5-6 pcs. (Medium)
Onion 2 pcs. (one for frying, the other for mashed potatoes)
Bay leaf 1 PC.
allspice 1 PC.
salt taste
oil drain. 50-70 gr.
vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.
chicken egg 1 PC.
milk 50 ml.
greens bundle

Cooking method

  • Boil potatoes, salt to taste with onion, bay leaf, shower. pepper.
  • While the potatoes are boiling, fry the onion until golden brown in vegetable oil with butter.
  • When the potatoes are ready, pour the broth from it into another saucepan, add a little frying, bring to a boil over the fire and leave on low heat for 15 minutes. Crush the potatoes with the addition of eggs, milk and the remaining frying. Then we wrap it up and let it stand a little. I cooked in a stainless steel saucepan in MV, so I put the mashed potatoes in a slow cooker while setting the table.
  • Put mashed potatoes in a plate, add broth, sprinkle with herbs and ... Bon appetit!

Lyrical digression
As far back as I can remember, my dad made such mashed potatoes, usually on Sundays, because the work week was still six days old. He crushed the potatoes with a wooden crush, which was saturated with the aroma of a borscht grinder. At the end, he dipped it in mashed potatoes and gave it to me. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed that I never sat down at the table - I was full.
