Rabbit in sour cream in a Panasonic multicooker

Category: Meat dishes

Ingredients

Rabbit carcass 1 kg
Liquid sour cream 500 g
Garlic 3 large slices
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • 1) Rinse the rabbit, dry it, cut into portions. Put in a multicooker pan. Do not grease the pan!
  • 2) Cook according to the STEWING program for 1.5 hours.
  • 3) Approximately 30-40 minutes after the start of stewing, remove the lid (without turning off the multicooker), turn the slices (they will be covered with an appetizing golden crust), salt, sprinkle with finely chopped garlic and pour sour cream. Close the lid again and continue simmering.
  • 4) Arrange the finished dish on plates, if desired, decorate with sprigs of herbs. Serve with boiled rice or potatoes.
  • Note: You can cook the rabbit immediately in sour cream and garlic, but then there will be no golden crust.

Note

(from Panasonic ideas for life magazine)

I am a lazy person, and therefore I cooked immediately in a "lazy" way (from the "note").

Actually, the rabbit turned out to be quite decent, but the appearance ... Frankly speaking, pathetic. Or maybe my assessment was influenced by the fact that my husband categorically refused to eat this dish - for the first time in 28 years (!) Of life together. And he refused NOT TRYING !! And my daughter and I gladly ate everything together. But if I am going to cook this dish someday, I will not cook a rabbit carcass, but rabbit feet. There is more meat there, in my opinion.

It will be even tastier if white wine is added. I kiss the (chopped) carcass, lay it in, salt, pepper, immediately add garlic, sour cream and wine. It will stand like this for 20-30 minutes and then I turn on the stewing mode, but you can first on the "baking", so that the crust will take a little ... It turns out very tasty. I've been cooking a rabbit for a long time, this recipe is the most successful!
