Tomato soup with meatballs

Ingredients

Tomatoes (I have frozen) 700 gr.
Rice 1 m / st.
Onion 2-3 medium heads
Meatballs (I have frozen) from a pound of minced meat
Garlic 2-3 cloves

Cooking method

  • Peel the tomatoes, chop in a blender (I already have a ready-made frozen tomato puree). Pour 2-2.5 liters of water into a saucepan. Pour rice into boiling water, when the water boils again, add meatballs, cook for 5 minutes. Then add tomato puree, fried onions. (I also added a tablespoon of tomato paste.) Cook until tender. Finally add the garlic squeezed through the garlic press. Let the soup steep.
