Ingredients

yeast 50 g
flour 6 st
draining. margarine 2/3 pack
sugar 5 tsp
salt 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • I'm very afraid to repeat myself, for sure there is such a recipe on our website, but still I want to share my recipe for making dough for pies.
  • So. I take my favorite "pie" pan (7-8 liters), I inherited it from my mother, pour milk. I warm up the milk, dissolve sugar, salt and yeast in it. I interfere with my hand, so confidently that everything has dissolved. I add flour, knead. Margarine, melted in a micra (warm), pour into the dough and knead again. The dough turns out to be so elastic, tender, easily sticks off the hands and sides of the pan. Buns and pies Branded(I don't have HP, so I always interfere with my hands.)
  • That's it, I put this thing in the ... refrigerator for 40-45 minutes. I don’t know what the trick is, but in the refrigerator, not in the warmth! Experienced bakers-members of the forum probably know the answer to this question.
  • While proving the dough, you can prepare the filling. I have it ready - jumped into the underground and took out a jar with an apple blank. My household is divided into two "groups" - one eats everything with apples, the other only buns and no filling!
  • This is the beauty I take out of the refrigerator:

  • Directly onto a cutting board. I pinch off a small piece and roll the blank balls. They rise again and again right before our eyes!

I put it on baking sheets and set it to stand for another 15-20 minutes. Rather, it turns out to be a continuous process: one baking sheet is sent to the oven, the other stands with the next batch.

I myself have been a mother for a long time, children grow up, but the feeling of Sunday pies has remained! Isn't it a joy when your family members gobble up still warm pies and buns (even if from the oven, not from the oven!) And say "Thank you!" and mommy, quite old, says that my buns are softer than her "branded" ones ...

Don't worry about no bread maker (yet)! She cannot knead so much dough at a time. I also loved to bake pies in huge quantities! But now there is almost no one to eat them, and production volumes have been reduced by 2-3 times.

Irish, if so, then there will definitely be pies. In the summer at the dacha we also make, it turns out, a similar preparation. Only without adding water. Pour 1 kg of peeled slices with a glass of granulated sugar and leave overnight. Apples let juice, in the morning we put them on fire, bring to a boil, stirring, boil for 2 minutes and in jars under iron lids. Practically, the same happens. Wonderful!

Irish, yesterday I tried to bake apple pie according to your recipe. I started the dough at 1/3, that is, on 2 glasses of flour, well, and the rest of the ingredients in the same proportion, of course. And I used dry yeast, 1 tsp. The dough was kneaded in a bread maker. Instead of filling, there were apples. I just rubbed it on the largest grater and added a little sugar. sand.She baked in our Field with a bowl from Stadler.
