Note

I really love condensed milk, but it’s impossible to eat in the store. Therefore, I ventured to cook it myself, and my faithful assistant, the bread maker, helped me with this. The result is homemade condensed milk with a delicate vanilla-caramel taste. Prepare! You will not regret!

Yes ... I don't come here, then I run to the kitchen to cook something ... My bread maker works in 2 or even 3 shifts

Where is milk powder sold? Or maybe some baby powders can be used instead?
Rick
Eh, but I don't have such a program in HP ... Or maybe you can replace it with something?

And what is your HP?
In principle, you can cook on the stove, stirring, and in a multicooker, if there is a similar mode ...

That is the question, on which program? I will definitely not do it on the stove, because I have already spoiled myself with this technique, and I have no time.
I remember, before, when there was a shortage of condensed milk, I made it on the stove from infant formula. It turned out very tasty.

Yes, it turns out that caramel color. This color is just an indicator that it will thicken later. If you want a very thick one, then you can start another cycle, but I think that in this case, it will not be condensed milk, but thick caramel.

You can also use such a mixture ... If there is nothing at all, then you can add a little starch, because milk powder is added to thicken ...

I think you can cook such condensed milk in a multicooker, for example, in the "Soup" mode ... Or something like that ... The multicooker itself does not have it, but logically the modes should be similar.
The "Jam" mode is heating, cooking with stirring, cooking ...

Tashenka, Better not take the Burenka, she is completely artificial, and there are always babies and Babies for children under one year old, they are natural.

I also heard this, but I often don't make jam or condensed milk ... As for me, when we put in the bread products (we have liquid first) and set it on the timer, the bread maker also stands with liquid ...
But, in general, I think it depends on the quality ...

Yes? Thanks for the advice! Otherwise I can't find any other powdered milk in Kiev, but I need it for homemade Nutella ... Now I'll know.

I was also afraid ... I thought that it would take a long time to launder, but it is all good - everything was laundered very quickly ...
Delicious condensed milk to you!

Tash, added to the bookmarks. Thanks for the recipe. How are you doing Nutella?

Thanks to the author for the recipe, I'm sure it's delicious
BUT - with such a methodical production of condensed milk, the HP bucket will quickly become unusable (the oil seal will start to pass), and when you already need to buy a bucket, you will not want condensed milk.

I can't find a picture of Nutella, I would create a recipe ... Well, okay ... I'll write here ...
Ingredients:
Vegetable oil (odorless) - 350 ml. (I took 300 ml.)
Milk - 150 ml
Sugar - 0.5 stack.
Cocoa powder - 3 tbsp. l. (I took 2 tbsp. l. with a slide)
Powdered milk - 2-3 tbsp. l. (I took 2.5 tbsp. l.)
1 bag of vanilla sugar.

Preparation:
Add sugar and vanilla sugar to warm milk and beat in a blender. Then add vegetable oil and whisk at high speed. The mass immediately begins to thicken. Then add milk powder and cocoa and beat again. The mixture is very thick, so beat gently. The blender is only submersible - ordinary will not work. Add chopped nuts at the end if desired. We mix. For everything about everything 5-10 minutes. Nutelok turns out to be very tasty, the taste of butter is not felt at all.
I use it for pancakes, as a cream for cakes, and so on for bread

And I thought about it It's not about washing the bucket, but about the consequences .. Although, everyone decides how convenient he is
Tasha, thanks for Nutella .. I have long wanted to try

It depends on how often you cook. One serving (400 ml) is enough for almost a week. You won't eat a lot of condensed milk ... So you won't have to cook often

How do you wash the bucket after the dough, for example, for pancakes, which sticks to the walls? I also, like after condensed milk, fill it with water and leave it, sometimes even for half an hour I can forget ... Or is it not the reason for the leak?
Tasha87
VishenkaSV, by the way, do not forget to put Nutelka in the refrigerator later, and in a couple of hours it will be even tastier

Or is this the reason for the leak?
the sweet liquid gradually seeps into the oil seal, it bakes there and over time the oil seal collapses and begins to flow - that's what they told me at the service center when I was repairing my HP (but I had another breakdown, electronics)
the master said that he categorically does not recommend cooking jam and all sorts of sweets in HP

It is not advised to keep the bucket with water for a long time .. The oil seal deteriorates ... I have a sad experience with the first c / n .. the oil seal dripped, the dough was in dark spots from grease, I had to pull it out of the running c / n (n) on the go I had to buy a new one ..

It depends on how often we eat. A can of condensed milk can go away in two days, just with tea or coffee "with a bite."

No, I usually use condensed milk only for baking ... And so the jar can stand for a week ... I eat it only with pancakes or pancakes ... My husband also occasionally pulls ...

I just boiled some gushka, it turned out to be exactly the same color as in the author's photo. Poured it over, it cools down. As it cools down, I'll give it to my husband for a tasting, he loves such a delicacy with me. How will I write it down.

In my HP, according to the instructions, liquid is always poured first, and flour is poured on top. And the timer is also provided in it. It turns out that the bucket costs 12 hours, and the water (whey, milk) spoil the oil seal? It turns out that those who constantly put HP on the timer, for example, in the evening, are forced to constantly change it to a new one?

So I'm talking about it ... After all, only in Panasonic is liquid poured on top of flour ... In all other HPs, liquid is first poured ... It's strange somehow ... Maybe a hot liquid is harmful to the bucket, I don't argue ... But I disagree with the fact that you can't leave a bucket of liquid ...

I don’t know what’s wrong, but the condensed milk turned out to be grainy, I broke the hefty pieces with a mixer, filtered the finished mixture through a sieve, but even what strained hot was even more or less, and after solidification the graininess increased.
Sweetheart
I don’t know if you can call it condensed milk ... but boiled toffee, definitely! It's a pity the pug does not climb into the bucket
Delicious! Made on a mixture of Malyutka (lies for a long time), and did not add vanilla sugar.

it seemed to me: it tasted like milk caramel ... oh, only I did not cook, but cooked in a cartoon ...

And in the cartoon on what mode did you cook? And is it possible to replace sugar with fructose in the recipe? I have diabetes.

Either you have digested, or you have curdled milk ... I had this once ...

Yes, I think that you can replace with fructose ... It will even be more useful ...

I took the ingredients according to the recipe, but I didn't add vanilla sugar - there was no. Very badly mixed, burnt at the edges and everything is in lumps. I brought all this disgrace to life like this: I beat it with a submersible blender and then rubbed it through a sieve. It tastes okay, but not that special. Toffee reminds, yes.
I have a Panasonic ZB2502, I cooked it in jam mode for 1 hour 40 minutes. Maybe she really digested it? But why did everything go so badly? maybe you had to first dry ingredients, and then milk?
Another time I'll try to cook on the stove.

tell me if you double the recipe in the bread maker nothing will happen? I mean it will not overflow. I have a bread maker up to 1500 g.

Well, I found a far hidden original recipe * How to make boiled condensed milk at home * It was published in G d-c k .ryu in 2006, but an anniversary! And the original is taken from "Grand libro de la Cocina Colombiana"
3 liters of milk
1 kg sugar
1 pinch of salt
0.5 tsp soda
I used a slow cooker with a ceramic pot. Poured 2% milk, adding sugar and put on a high temperature for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Then I switched to a low temperature and another 4-5 hours. The lid must be open all the time, otherwise it will turn out to be liquid and pale. Once I overexposed it and got boiled condensed milk. It didn't go into baking, so people just ate it. In a slow cooker, I don't get it so good, it is liquidish, but, as I was told, "it was so tasteless and so little of it that we ate it all" like that I would not suffer.
