Pork neck stuffed with carrots (Brand 6050 pressure cooker)

Ingredients

Pork neck about 1 kg.
Carrot (long) 1 PC.
Garlic 2-3 teeth
Granular mustard 1 tbsp. l.
Salt to taste
Bulb 1 PC.
Bay leaf 1-2 pcs.
Black peppercorns 2-3 pcs.
WARNING: cooking needle required *

Cooking method

  • Wash the meat, dry it with a paper towel.
  • Cut the carrots into long thin strips with a square in cross section. (I chopped carrots on a Berner vegetable cutter on a 4.5 mm insert).
  • Using a culinary needle, "stitch" a piece of pork neck with carrots or "zigzag".
  • Chop the garlic. Combine mustard, garlic and salt. Grate meat on all sides with this mixture. Wrap in plastic wrap and keep in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Better 8 hours.
  • Grease a bowl of a Brand 6050 pressure cooker with vegetable oil and heat for a couple of minutes - Fry - Meat mode. Place the neck in a pressure cooker bowl and fry on all sides (even the ends) until golden brown.
  • Then turn off the Frying mode.
  • Pour 1 tbsp into the bowl. l. hot water.
  • Add a whole peeled onion, bay leaf and black peppercorns to the meat. Close the lid. Set the mode Meat 30-35 minutes under high pressure.
  • After the signal and pressure equalization, cool the neck to room temperature and let it mature in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Serve as a cold snack.

Tatyana, very much even turn out in 6060. Only fry in the Fry mode for less time is needed. You will go faster. And stew on the Soup mode. I do not see any reason not to work.
