And I got confused with styrylization. I read what the airfryer sterilizes, then decided to sterilize several jars, and ... It is written that it is necessary to sterilize directly with the product. Well, I really should have poured the jam into the jars and into the grill? The temperature seems to be 140 degrees. Wouldn't the banks have blown up? And the lids? And in time?
In short, I was afraid to experiment ...

Hairpin! I first sterilize empty jars: liter jars for about 10 minutes.

And only then with the product under the lid as required by the recipe. Everything turns out great
BASIC PARAMETERS OF STERILIZATION
TEMPERATURE

Since the boiling point of water in the airfryer is 140 degrees, the sterilization temperature must be at least 150 degrees Celsius.

To increase the heat transfer, you can start the program from 260 degrees, but in this case, before installing the cans in the airfryer, first remove the rubber gaskets from the covers.
You can do it differently: get the so-called "auxiliary covers", freeing several covers from the rubber gaskets. You will use these "auxiliary covers" at temperatures above 150 degrees, replacing the "auxiliary covers" with the main ones at the last moment.
TIME

Sterilization begins from the moment when bubbles begin to flow in the cans. Typical sterilization time is 15 minutes, if the enlargement ring is installed - 20 minutes.
SPEED IS HIGH.

This information is from Hotter's website

If you are afraid, start from 180 degrees, or you can immediately at 150 degrees, only it will take longer ... But it will still work out

Times change, and we change with times.

Has dropped in here now ... MOMA DARAGAYA !!! Sterilize cans in the airfryer ... I have been doing this in the microwave for the second year already ... And I sterilize both cans and lids at the same time. A jar filled with 10-15% water with an unfastened lid with a five-minute boil in the microwave I have does not spark and does not explode ... Another question is that three-liter will not fit in the microwave ... But in our times, three-liter are not relevant ...

I don't even know ... Ask modders to delete the topic or leave ...

thanks for the little topic, at first it was dumb, but if everyone succeeds ... why can't I succeed ???

Short but relevant topic! I read it and now I don't panic, I went to get the covers and the typewriter.

I have been sterilizing it for the fourth year already, for this I bought it, everything turns out great. 3-liter with two rings are compotes, and sometimes vegetables. I do not sterilize banks in advance.

And this is how I make berries in my own juice. And nothing bangs and does not explode.

I want to buy just for these purposes, share how you make compotes, how do you make vegetables, how to calculate the time per liter?

I'll raise the topic)
Please tell us in detail how to sterilize in the airfryer?
Yesterday I made tomatoes in my own juice. I poured boiling tomato juice into jars with prmidors, covered them with lids, and put them in a heated airfryer.
But! The tomatoes were cold, and the temperature in the jars dropped immediately to 55C. After the first 20 minutes at 159C, it barely changed. I put it on 260 for 6 minutes. It got a little warmer. Another 200C for 10 minutes. I noticed bubbles, but not from the bottom of the cans, but from the middle. Translated to 159 for 15 minutes. Spun, and under a fur coat
In my opinion, they are cooked.
The second batch was sterilized a little less, I immediately set it to 260 for 15 minutes - until bubbles appeared. And then for 20 minutes at 150C.
But I never got any bubbles from the bottom of the can.

How to properly sterilize? People cook soups, but I couldn't bring them to a boil. Maybe too thick tomato, and high density of the product? She used a blender to break up the booths.
I feel that all 10 liters will be used in winter for sauce, but I need to make tomatoes again in s / s)

Fotina, Svetlana, what kind of aero grill do you have? Maybe the quality depends on the company? I also wanted to buy a device, but now I doubted
