Bulgur and quinoa with potatoes in oursson 5005 pressure cooker

Ingredients

Bulgur and Quinoa Mix 1 glass (250 ml.)
Fresh potatoes 4-5 pcs. small
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Fresh garlic 1 clove
Spice mix 1 tsp
Salt taste
A mixture of vegetable and butter about 1-2 tbsp. l.
The water is clean about 2.5 cups (250 ml.)

Cooking method

  • Since the groats are small, I cut onions and potatoes into small cubes.
  • Bulgur and quinoa with potatoes in oursson 5005 pressure cooker
  • Preheat a pressure cooker pan with a mixture of oil, add garlic (crush with a knife), onion, spices, a pinch of salt and sauté for a few minutes until the onion is transparent. Disable Baking mode.
  • Add cereals, diced potatoes, water, salt to taste to the pan, stir, close the lid.
  • Exhibit Porridge mode, pressure 1, time 35 minutes, and enable START. After cooking, wait until the pressure drops by itself, during this time the cereal will still have time to sweat in the heat.
  • We get such a beautiful side dish porridge.

The groats were completely boiled, became soft, and the butter added an additional pleasant taste and consistency.
Earlier, I tried to cook quinoa in a saucepan on the stove, to be honest - I didn't like it. And I never tried to repeat these experiments. Here came the idea to cook cereals together with bulgur (it is just as small) and added fresh potatoes, which made the cereal soft.
I have Bulgur all the time, now I will combine these two cereals more often! And besides, the pressure cooker did a pretty good job with the cereal, the taste and consistency are excellent!

Bulgur, even with fried onions, has never tasted this good on the stove. Here, of course, Orsyushkin's merit is there, but still, without your idea - to combine bulgur, and onion, and potatoes - it would not have been so great!

You can also add dried cherries, cranberries (and even raisins) to bulgur to taste. Bulgur is bland by itself, and sour onions and dried fruits will give a good taste - I like
