Young potatoes in mint sauce

Ingredients

Potatoes young 700 g
Fresh mint 3 twigs
Dill 3 twigs
Ghee butter 40 g
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Peel and rinse potatoes.
  • Separate the leaves from mint, side branches from dill. Grind with a blender.
  • Add softened butter, salt, mix.
  • Mix potatoes with sauce, put in foil. Wrap so that the sauce does not run out during cooking. Attention, one layer of foil is enough !!!!!!
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200C for 30 minutes or in AF.
  • The garnish turned out to be very unusual and tasty. There were doubts about the grass, I thought I would have to peel it off, but no, we ate it with all the \ "giblets \".

Leska
How delicious, there is almost everything from the list ... only the foil is missing.

And I don't have mint ...
Natasha, only last year they gave me seedlings myself. Three different types, but which one I don't know which one. He's still a gardener. I used this one, it has a more delicate taste:

from there.
Leska
, know it's night. It is harmful to someone (and the doctor allowed me to eat only everything green) - the color is just right. Baked with lemon balm - vkuusnoo! I will definitely repeat it tomorrow! Ksyusha, I love you!
Omela
URAAAA !!!!
shl. Marish, what is in my photo?
Leska
Rub the leaves ... what does it smell like? Mint has a slightly harsh menthol aroma and the leaves are elongated and pointed, while lemon balm has a scent somewhat reminiscent of lemon, and the leaves are more rounded. As in my uneducated (balcony cultivation) - you have lemon balm.

you have melissa.
mint grows nearby. And you grill, there is some kind of lemon ... and also menthol ... and more ..fucking cloud I read it on Wikipedia.
Leska
Thus, I found the following differences between mint and lemon balm:
Mint has a straight stem, while lemon balm has a branched stem.
Mint smells like menthol, and the scent of lemon balm is more spicy, reminiscent of lemon.
Mint flowers are collected in spike-shaped inflorescences, and in lemon balm in false rings.
Mint has a high content of essential oil, while lemon balm is much less.
Both mint and lemon balm are used in cooking. But mint is more like a flavoring agent, and lemon balm as a seasoning.

Who are you talking to? Boom take it all

Leska, Omela and this is not a hoax! People who bring it to you in order to earn money, plant it in mid-April, preliminarily bringing it into a warm room for warming up, they themselves did this a couple of years ago. Now we do not trade, we plant it already after the May holidays, why do we need it early in my cellar ... The earlier you plant - the earlier you clean - it will be stored longer, but why?
Although my husband yesterday, after the publicity of the "awesome recipe", drove to a friend, dug a young bucket, tomorrow I will cook it while we eat it in pots
