You can make a honey cake with our yeast helpers.

I baked a honey cake today, and didn't even want to smear it with cream.
Until then, fragrant.

This is my second try, the first was yesterday
baked in AG.

Well, I AM NOT FRIENDS WITH AEROGRILL,
The top is burnt, the inside is not baked.

Therefore, I did not exhibit, Today I have already taken into account the shortcomings, and it turned out super!
She came up with the recipe herself. I took the recipe of Baba Rum as a basis, but only shoved honey into it.

Temptress, now I have two honeymen

natamylove , very interesting!
And what is soda for if there is yeast, and does it feel strongly in baked goods? Do you think you can reduce it? (In my family, not everyone can eat baked goods with soda)
And I already want to cook.

when honey is heated with soda, a soda quenching reaction occurs.

And the honey begins to boil, turn into foam and increase in volume.

This technique is often used when baking honey cake.

I used it too.

There was absolutely no soda to be heard.

I will try without soda, I really want to bake honey yeast dough.
I found recipes in the internet, so I'm inventing.

I want to try baking this pie, but make a batter like a baba.

I'll try one of these days.
lina
Theoretically, it will probably work well without soda ... We bake bread with honey, don't we? And good bread turns out. Eh, and why alone do I like honey and lemons?
natamylove
I agree to try, this week I agree to bake
1.without soda
2.with batter like in a baba.
lina
Sits in the oven ... The dough is thin, laid out in the form with a spoon. No soda. The recipe was not only cut in half, but also altered. We are waiting ...

Girls, and I baked a honey yeast recipe Qween, this:https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=4518.0
In that recipe, too, yeast and soda. Medovichok turned out great!
lina
We are waiting for the result!

I tried it, I report.

My version of the recipe, for a brick shape:

1 egg
25 grams of sunflower oil (odorless)
100 ml milk
1 tbsp. l. Sahara
2 tbsp. l. honey (spoon of sweet clover, spoon of taiga herbs)
6 g yeast
OK. 200 grams of flour (170, probably)
ground ginger, cinnamon - from the kamis mill, there is also cardamom)
salt
1 apple

Dissolve the yeast in milk with a spoonful of flour, let it bubble (distracted, almost ran away), mix everything with a mixer (first about 100 g of flour, then added to the desired density). Let it rise.It took a long time to rise (you can probably increase the amount of yeast a little). Add the diced apple, put in a lined with paper form and send to the oven with the light on for proofing. Bake at 180 C. Not very carefully pulled out of the mold, crush the top. you need to get it like cake!

Very aromatic, very fluffy and perforated. Because of the apple - juicy. In my opinion, the consistency of the dough was ideal for adding dried fruits, for a juicy apple you need to make it a little thicker. It turned out great

natamylove, Thank you!

"Very aromatic, very fluffy and perforated"

This is what I want to achieve.

Usually honey cakes are heavy, they go for gingerbread.
I made biscuit honey cake many times, eggs are expensive now.

I was drawn to yeast.

Thanks for the link, otherwise I was looking for it, I could not find it.
We are not the only ones who love honey dough.

And my dough is sitting in the cartoon, trying to rise, but it's hard for him.

There are a lot of heavy products in the dough, the first time it was also hard to rise.
lina
It was hard for me to climb - it took all 4 hours with a tail, this is one rise and incomplete proofing in shape. Only in my opinion, there is a lot of sugar - if you also add raisins, dried apricots. And it makes it heavier ... The apple also added fluffiness - maybe it makes sense to try an apple on a grater, for greater fluffiness? One for a full serving? This brick will be enough for me for a week, if lovers of such pastries do not come to visit, so I will not repeat it soon ...

And here is my report on baking a honey cake with yeast, but without soda.

Alas, the result did not please me.
It turned out to be a honey gingerbread, not high, elastic., Rubber.
Very tasty, but ... no species.

While I settled on the original version, where honey is quenched with soda.
Later I will attach pictures to the message.
Elenka
Natasha, thanks for the experiment, but I waited, waited and made a gingerbread with your honey + soda intake (reducing its amount).
True alkaline taste is felt, but the result is good.
I'll try your recipe later with less baking soda.

Good evening natamylove!
I am very interested in your honeymooner! I want to try to bake just this, but there is no multicooker. There is a small electric oven. How to be? What to change? Reduce baking time? Maybe put a tray of water?
Thank you in advance for your response!

And yet, for some reason a "wrong" smiley appears in the view. I don’t understand where it came from. And you can't remove it.
