Safety. A typical pressure cooker has only 2 safety valves.
Our pressure cooker has 6 levels of protection!

There is a security lock on the cover. If the lid is not properly closed, pressure will not build up inside the pot. If the lid is closed well, excess pressure builds up inside the pressure cooker. The lock will prevent the lid from opening while there is high pressure inside the pot.

Internal tank pressure regulator. There is a pressure regulator for the inner container inside the pot. It controls the pressure inside the pot. This pressure cooker operates at a pressure of 60kPa-70kPa. If the pressure rises to 70 kPa, the regulator starts to work and turns off the heating so that the pressure does not increase any more. If the pressure is less than 60kPa, the regulator turns on heating to increase the pressure. This process is automatic.

Bypass valve. If the protection system suddenly fails and the pressure rises to 90kPa, the bypass valve on the lid will work and reduce the pressure inside the pan.

Temperature sensor. There is a temperature sensor inside the pot. If suddenly the temperature rises above the maximum permissible, or drops below the programmed one, the sensor will work and turn off or turn on the power supply.

Temperature sensor fuse... If the temperature sensor is faulty and the temperature inside the pan rises to the maximum permissible temperature (145 ° C), the fuse will go off. It interrupts the power supply completely.

The last degree of protection. This protection method is patented. This is a very important mechanism. Inside the pot, at the bottom, there are three flat springs. In case of failure of all stages of protection, the pressure in the pan can rise very high, up to 200 kPa. In this case, the springs are activated. The internal container under the action of pressure presses the springs and falls down. As a result, a gap is created between the inner container and the lid, through which the pressure is released.

Hello everybody! And here is such a saucepan "Electric Pan Unit USP-1000D". According to the description, it is very similar to Ranasonka (which I do not have). Cheaper. In the same internet store. True, it does not say about a huge selection of dishes and other delights, but the electric pan, it is in Africa, I think ... And the capacity is more - 6 liters (I need it). And 4 liters is still cheap. Who knows about her? And then I'm in the moment of choice.

Pakat
Fedot, but not that one ...
Unit USP-1000D is a pressure cooker, not a multicooker like Piglet or Beam.
The principle of operation is different, cooking under high pressure.
Tanyusha
natalka I'm looking at Unit the same, but she's a pressure cooker. It is interesting to make a biscuit in it if there is a cupcake / cake function. The price is very attractive.
natalka
The pressure cooker is, in my opinion, from a lantern, because our favorite multicooker is also called all sorts of steamers, etc. I think that the cooking system in them is similar, but with the pressure cooker only the lid with the sealant and the valve are in common (which is in both the cartoon and the Unit). The stove can definitely be eaten once there is a program you need, but the volume of 6 liters is more suitable for me for soups (by the way, there is such a program, unlike multi), since the family is large. Probably worth buying it, the price is quite affordable. By the way, there is a timer and a delay. The only thing I did not understand was whether there was a heating mode after the end of cooking. And of course, it's a pity that I can't watch her live. I do not live in Moscow and we most likely will not find it, I will have to order it on the Internet, and there you buy it like a pig in a poke. Delivery is something not by courier, but by cash on delivery. Pay first, and then be content with what you get.

about the lid of the multicooker, it is leaking.
The valve is designed to relieve pressure.
This is its difference from a pressure cooker, where an excess pressure is created under the lid, due to this pressure, the temperature rises and cooks quickly.
In the cartoon, it's just a closed space, low temperature
and the food languishes, as in a Russian oven, in an enclosure, this is the main advantage of multi ...
natalka
I'm not sure that the principles of operation of Multi and Unit are fundamentally different since Unit is called both a pressure cooker and an electric pan and even a multicooker. And then, about the big pressure is not mentioned anywhere. Well, I also understand how to fry or stew under pressure, but how to cook soup or oven? This is something new. PakatYou yourself saw her alive? Have you used it? So categorically answer as if you have the whole set of all possible multicooker.
Elena Bo
natalka, Pack of rights. He knows what he's talking about. Read the instructions
This is a multi-functional pressure cooker.
"A pressure cooker is like an ordinary pot, connected to electricity, with a special lid design. The secret of its work is absolute tightness. When the water in a pressure cooker boils, the steam, having no outlet, creates excessive pressure. As a result, the temperature rises and the cooking time is shortened."
natalka
I did not come across a full description, as well as an instruction. Sorry to be assertive. : red: This of course complicates somewhat (inability to open the lid during operation), but this device still has its advantages. For example large volume, fully automatic cooking programs. This is not an antique pressure cooker. And then, if you don't close it, will she stop cooking? There will simply be no high pressure and the cooking time will increase. But again, why not close it? The essence (goal!) Is the same - to free up time. Laid it, closed it and left. There is no need to stand over it, and even the cooking time, due to the high pressure, will decrease. Why not experience it?
Tanyusha
I read the instructions for Unit and I liked it, the functions are the same as in the cartoon, only to prepare under pressure, maybe I'm wrong. I found the price for it very attractive for 2530 rubles. If my husband doesn't swear strongly for a new appliance in the kitchen, I'll buy it.
Tanyusha
I also looked at Unit-800, as I understand it, it differs from Unit-1000 in the power and size of the bowl, and the functions are still the same price difference of 1000 rubles.
Link
Today I saw in the store an analogue (probably an analogue - I can’t presume to define exactly) a Panasonic multicooker!
Multicooker Unit USP-800M and Unit USP-1000D are now widely available in stores and online stores.
But there is actually very little information on the Internet, it is not really clear, only general data: Power 800 W
Inner bowl capacity 4 l
Removable non-stick inner bowl
Stainless steel body
Safety system
Accessories:
Steaming rack
Measuring cup
Special spoon
Operating instructions with recipes for cooking.
The principle of cooking is the same as that of Panasonic, i.e. food is cooked under pressure. The Chinese collect it.
I was interested in this multicooker, because having a Panasonic multicooker, I would like to buy a second one for a summer residence, but this is a complicated process (I mean buying a multicooker), and prices are still growing.
I was interested in this multicooker when I saw it in the store today (model USP-800M). An interesting saucepan, the functions seem to be the same as those of Panasonic, the panel has the programs "Steam Cooking", "Soup", "Baking" and others. I was especially impressed by the price - 1718 rubles!
Now I toil in thought - is it a good thing, is it worth buying.
Can anyone know something about UNIT multicooker ??? Write please.

Linka, and what does Panasonic have more opportunities? As I understand it, the only difference is that you can't open the lid and cooks the pressure cooker faster. And if you pull out the valve, it will generally be like a cartoon. Maybe I'm wrong?
Galina57
How to remove the valve is not shown in the instructions. I cook the broth like in a pressure cooker, and then I cook the soup like in a multicooker, that is, without closing the lid (I do not turn it until it clicks), having the opportunity to open the lid at any time and look inside.
Tanyusha
I'm still thinking about buying a pressure cooker or not. Unit price is very attractive 1500 rubles. mechanics, 2400 electronics, but I still think I need it or not, there is no place to put the appliances at home, but on the other hand, the meat can be extinguished quickly.
Link
After all, all the links provided discuss the LANDLIFE pressure cooker, not the UNIT. Or are the devices absolutely the same?

tanya1962, maybe Panasonic has no more opportunities, of course, everything is learned in comparison. But already opening the lid makes it possible to cook almost everything (judging by the good-cookie). Also in favor of the multicooker, I have the fact that I already know well the operation of this device and there are a lot of recipes, but a new device needs to be mastered, but there is no time. And I didn't really like the photos of the dishes from the pressure cooker ...

Only the price and availability remained in favor of the pressure cooker.
Galina57
LANDLIFE and UNIT pressure cookers are copies of each other. And on the same Good Cook there are several recipes for pressure cookers. And I also want to say that steamed vegetables are still better in a pressure cooker - they fit more and cook faster. The choice is yours.
natalka
You probably looked badly because I already raised this topic (and these conversations have already been conducted before me) and, by the way, still have not given up hope of buying a Unit-1000 multi pressure cooker instead of the second. The biggest plus for me in it is the capacity of 6 liters. But the problem with the purchase is that I live in the central black earth and I haven’t been able to find it in stores yet, I ordered it by and-no, in my opinion the only online store that delivers to the regions, today they just threw off my details. It will cost me almost four thousand with delivery and at the same time my ardor has not disappeared. I still want it .. True, I would have bought Beem, but I'm afraid the e-bey will send more expensive than a saucepan, but there is nowhere else to take it.
tatalija
Well, actually girls, you gave me a puzzle. I've been on the site for a week now on the subject "I want a slow cooker", and now I don't know what I want. Well, I'll start in order, there is a desire to buy a steamer, I read about a multicooker, I switched to the mode - I want it, and somehow so smoothly I found a link to this section of the forum and caught a new hochun - a pressure cooker. In short, for a start, give advice on what to want?
In my desire, so that you can cook without standing, so that you can bake, so that it seems like a delay in cooking and maintenance, but I still probably lean quickly. Well, I wrote and it comes out - a pressure cooker. But it does not have what is in the cartoon, in short, what is the difference, and so write it as for the tin. And in Europe, the long-term ones are now popular, but who do they need ...?
lira70
pressure cooker: quick cooking is a very convenient thing - soup at full load 50 min, beef 20 min, rice 20 min - it turns out very crumbly, buckwheat in rice mode is also excellent

BUT .. problems with frying .. I still have time to do frying, until it gets too hot or just does not understand that the weight is small .. but what would fry a chicken - exactly - fry - here you need patience, for some reason it turns off after 3 minutes, whether it heats up, or does not see how much liquid is needed, in short, this is the secret of the manufacturer., but nevertheless I still managed to fry))) True, I was prompted that it is possible to fry on the RIS program .. I'll check - until I want to fry something

multicooker: everything is certainly longer - buckwheat, rice, .. for 40 minutes, but on the BAKING program you can calmly fry whatever you want .., bake biscuits, cheesecakes, muffins, and much more .. here you can see what they "get up" in a slow cooker

there is also something to look at .. the price of a slow cooker has jumped a lot - it's just that the people of Portugal have become so impudent that you are amazed .. 7 tons each is too cool .. and even go find a slow cooker ... you will be tormented to look for Eldorado in general he gets mad, puts it on sale at 3999 and starts scoffing, accepts orders, then gives it, then he gets it to someone who doesn't.
a pressure cooker can be ordered (write in a personal, if you are in Moscow. I will give the ICQ of the girl who orders them)) which is cheaper than buying it in a store. To be honest, there will be more multi-cooker possibilities, and the pressure cooker will be faster, so you can decide what you are going to do in it. When I was deciding the question of purchasing multi- I thought for a very long time .. probably a month .. but it turned out - such a wonderful thing !!! I put it ready and went about my business .. she cooks and will keep on heating for 13 hours .. the pressure cooker also keeps on heating, it seems like 9 hours, there is also a timer, but in the cartoon you can open the lid at any time - well, if not a biscuit is being baked .. and the pressure cooker must not be opened .. it is under pressure .. you can, of course, cook without a lid, but I already left that for later, without a lid I only do frying for the soup.
probably messy wrote .. if you buy a pressure cooker, take a tip for 5 liters - it's not so much as it seems !!! it is not very huge. but it is more convenient, especially if you decide to make jellied meat .. otherwise the broth will not be enough .. -checked !!! cartoon it is 4 liters somewhere, that is, the output goes about 3.5, and a pressure cooker for 5 liters, the output is probably 4.5, but if, for example, the chicken is bigger .. will stick out of the water ...
lira70
And one more thing: this is how I answered the question of whether a slow cooker replaces an oven. microwave, saucepan and something else:
since the size of the multicooker is certain, then the oven does not completely zemenit - well, a baking sheet with pies will not fit in there ... in the microwave I just defrost and heat it up .. I don’t even think to do this in a multit ... to fry .. yes .. very convenient in the sense, less oil, it turns out tastier and healthier food .. my husband has an ulcer, and so in a year, he never made itself felt, I cook only in a slow cooker, an airfryer and a pressure cooker .. on the stove I only do scrambled eggs, boil mashed potatoes, fry pancakes, boil and fry noodles and more jelly ... that's all .. nothing else .. 1 burner is free,
the rest of the cooking is done by my kitchens. assistants.
soups in a cartoon and a pressure cooker - much tastier, no need to keep an eye on the broth - when it boils .. put it and went .. where you want to even walk, even to the store, at least sleep .. usually put the soups for the night .. in the morning I just poured an ordinary saucepan , on the BAKING program, they not only bake from biscuits to cheesecake, but they also fry whatever they want ..
- for a couple .. in the cartoon there is a plastic basket in which you put food, water is poured into the saucepan itself and the time is set. This is how I make cutlets and vinigret, and khinkali - 30 minutes and it's done. Maybe it's longer than in an ordinary steamer, but I don't cycle .. I gave my steamer to my mother .. although she also has a cartoon, but she needs to cook more for a couple than me - diabetes .. much is impossible ..
I gave a link above to a site where you can see what is cooked in a slow cooker .. from porridge to ham .. I strongly advise you to look through and see.then perhaps it will be more clear what she is capable of
in the pressure cooker for steam cooking there is an iron grate that is similar to those that are attached to the microwave.
tatalija
In one word it is necessary to buy 2. hee hee. I will do so !!!! No, I'm not in Moscow, in Lithuania. here we have never heard of a multicooker, but on another site of the poor fellows from the former ... I found that in Germany you can buy Beem firms (like I wrote correctly) and it is cheaper than they stick in you, about 59 Euros. Similar to Ranas, at least visually. There I think a lot of good things can be done, at least for the fact that I found yogut in it somewhere. Well, while I was writing, my son asked with whom I corresponded, told the essence of the search and ... summary - a slow cooker. But I think the next one will be a pressure cooker. But still Lira70, many thanks for the detailed debriefing. I think with these two units, there is no need for a double boiler
lira70
tatalija
BEEM is a one-on-one pressure cooker with my IP Unit .. rather, it’s because the Chinese licked them with Beem. And no one goes to Russia? True, the PANASONik multicooker is difficult to find now. but if someone goes to Pskov there they can stand in one of the two El Dorado. (I bought it for my mother)
and also girls from Canada bought on the ebay website (so it seems like they wrote)

by the way, I bought a multicooker from that summer, and a pressure cooker in February - one multi was not enough for me, but now lafa ... in one cake is baked in another soup is cooked .. 2 bread makers bake different bread ..
and if anything write to ICQ 268-912-063

she- (multicooker) perfectly replaces the steamer for me ..
tatalija
And another question for everyone, about the fact that the multicooker is a good economist on electricity, what people will say about the pressure cooker, it is like a glutton or also an energy-saving device
lira70
can it replace a multicooker a little if you have a pressure cooker?
no, it’s more like an electric grill, and this thing will replace an airfryer. not this porsto electric grill. Cool though ..
multicooker - power consumption 670
a pressure cooker (mine, exactly) - a power of 900 W, how much at the same time it eats, I do not look, because it works faster, that's all. and I think that the cartoon will consume the same thing in 1.5-2 hours as a pressure cooker in 50 minutes.
Microwave eats more)))

For the first time I watched the electricity .. and now when, or rather, as soon as I took the baby from the parents .. we immediately began to pay more .. so a hundred pressure cooker and cartoon together with AG in any comparison with my son)))) I come everything works - and TV and Internet, and music ..))
Mueslik
;) Here I am in this thread! I was looking for a gift for myself, my beloved; I wanted a slow cooker or a master pilaf (or better, both), ran around the whole city - well, they are nowhere! And in the very last store I saw the UNIT USP-1000D EE pressure cooker, thought and thought, read the instructions, and made up my mind! I WANT now and can't wait: :) I bought it and I'm happy! Already tried and cooked stewed potatoes with meat, delicious, as if they were languishing in the stove (y) Recipes, however, are not enough, but I will master, help with advice-happy owners of such wonderful pots (and recipes)
natalka
I also ordered this through the online store. I still can't wait for the delivery, everything has already been paid for a long time ago, but they have some kind of hitch (difficulty with delivery to the regions, not everything is even taken). True, I already have a Panasonic multicooker, and I decided to buy this one as the second number because firstly: one such saucepan is not enough, and secondly: I liked its capacity of 6 liters and the soups program (this is how I read in and-not ), for our big family it is better to cook more soup.
lira70
Mueslik
but what do you think ... if it (impression) were bad, I would hardly have started to spread something here, and generally cook and even more so bake in it.
I am very pleased with this purchase, despite the fact that I also have a Panasonic multicooker. He cooks quickly and tasty, well, of course, if I try)))) but I try ..
but about the recipes .. yes, in principle, look at mine, just look at the multicooker, and then just the very understanding of how to cook in it will come .. there is nothing complicated ...just don't start with something tricky, start with rice (I started with rice, 2 cups of rice and 5 cups of water, salt, RIS program), porridge or soup .. here are links to recipes for a simple pressure cooker - which cooks on the stove, they can be easily adjusted for e-coy ..
tatalija
I'm so sorry that you can't do it with the pressure cooker .. let's hope it works .. all the same ..
and no one from your acquaintances travels to Moscow?
Mueslik
Thank you, about your recipes, I realized that under pressure :) I would like to cook in it in two versions - like in a pressure cooker and like in a multicooker. I think, if you do not close the lid with the lock and the position of the valve is open, it will prepare, as in a multitask, you can open the lid and look. You don't need this - you have a slow cooker In general, you still need to adapt by the method of scientific poking, which I do, I cook in it every day
lira70
Mueslik
yeah .. so they caught it .. every day ... I put my hands on my hips .. and where are the recipes .. why am I here alone for everyone puffing .. it doesn’t go like that .. nertsutiki .. pliz ..
just kidding .. but seriously!

but without pressure, yes .. by typing .. but the point is to make a slow cooker out of it like a Panas .. cartoon cooks much longer .. 3 times for sure .. only for special dishes ... too much. or spoil the food or not ..
... but be sure to share with us !!
if there is no pressure, just pull out the valve and put it aside.
I'm in the cartoon now only cook for a couple (and that is rare) and pastries .. although the weekend of the cartoon was busy with vinaigrette, and in the pressure cooker I baked a future cake .. well, the one that is "consent")))
the pressure cooker cooks faster and it is very profitable - less time, but why look again .. I don’t even know because in the cartoon when you look in, the balance is disturbed .. temperatures .. we look there, but the manufacturer does not recommend !!!!
I looked in the cartoon. but here I don't even think about it .. somehow the need has disappeared by itself .. these are the things)))
Mueslik
lira70, I'm not a magician - I'm just learning, my beauty only lives for a week
While there is nothing to boast about, I am slowly mastering, but the possibilities are very impressive and, apart from the unsuccessful pilaf, everything is excellent, the taste is strikingly different from that cooked on the stove
I was also struck by how similar our saucepans are, even the instruction is almost one to one! Still, it's a THING! Thank you for making the decision to buy it (I read this topic before) there was a negative impression from the old pressure cooker
When I turned it on for the first time, I was waiting for a wild hiss and was pleasantly surprised at how tenderly she snored (y) And she is such an independent lady, she will cook, she will relieve the pressure, she will go into heating mode, cooking with her is a pleasure!
Tanyusha
Anastasia has a timer in Unit-800, only you press the button in the pressure cooker, and at 800 you need to set the cooking time yourself. The instructions read as follows: To set the time, turn the Timer clockwise and set the desired time value in accordance with the Timer scale.
I understand that the difference between 800 and 1000 in volume and a mechanical timer.

No, this is not the same timer - there is no programming there. e. delayed start for 1-9 hours, as in a Panasonic multicooker. That is, you can program the work so that the program does not start working immediately, but after some time. I'm talking about him. It's just that it is called on the site of the unit itself - compare the descriptions - there are 1000, and 800 - no. Maybe this is not a very important function, or it may come in handy.
And you can set the cooking time manually in that and in that model. Already checked, very convenient.
natalka
In the process of mastering the multicooker pressure cooker, I had a question
Does the letter "P" really light up when the pressure reaches the desired value? (I wrote about this above, and then doubted)
Something I have not found in the instructions yet.
Mueslik
Yes, the letter "P" will light up when the device gains operating pressure and the cooking process itself begins.
The instruction, in my opinion, is somewhat stupid ... And when you start cooking, everything falls into place.
I also made cottage cheese casserole, only everything "by eye" and the baking mode, I liked it, although no one likes cottage cheese
Lenusya
Unit pressure cooker owners, please help.
Friends bought a pressure cooker, they opened it at home, and it smells like chemistry inside, they thought a new one would pass, cooked porridge - nobody could eat, the smell. already boiled with water and apple cider vinegar. Smells most likely gum sealing.
Girls who faced such a problem. What to do ?
Mueslik
Lenusya , I immediately did not smell of anything, no extraneous odors. After cooking, it smells like what I was cooking; rinse with detergent, do not close tightly ...
It seems to me that the smell of chemistry is not normal, we need to go to service
natalka
I, too, initially did not have any foreign smell, it just smelled like a new thing. It seems to me that this is not the case in the saucepan (there is nothing special to smell), most likely it (the saucepan) was simply stored or transported next to something odorous. Can you wait and everything will pass? It's a pity to give such a thing back. I really liked it, I use it more often than a cartoon. And the portion of soup is larger (there is a special "soup" program), and you can steam more at a time, and cooks much faster.
natalka
Since I got a multicooker pressure cooker, I started using the multicooker much less often. Of course, before there was no alternative and all (or almost all) of the dishes were cooked in a multitude, but now the main part is prepared in a pressure cooker precisely because it is a SKIER. Almost any dish is ready in 20 minutes. Of course, it is much more convenient to make meat in 30 minutes, and not in 1 hour 30 minutes. And so in everything. Naturally, if you have nowhere to hurry, you can wait, but it often happens that there is just no time to wait. I am very happy with this saucepan. They complement each other so wonderfully with the mulka!
julli
tanya1962, at first I wanted a multicooker, and then I came across a pressure cooker, it cooks faster, it will be more convenient for me, because I will hardly put something on at night. But I would not like to miss the choice. The pressure cooker manufacturer is still confused
natalka
Landlife is an exact copy of Unit 1000. But if the Unit pressure cooker of this type is only 6 liters, then there is Landlife for 4.5 liters and for 5 and 6. This info jumped somewhere on the forum. And there were even forked comparisons.
natalka
How I liked this pressure cooker. She just perfectly complements the cartoon. How I used to live without these pots in general ??? Every day I enjoy the convenience of these delights. I really like the speed of cooking in a pressure cooker. Soup for half an hour is real! The multicooker is smart, but this is too tough for her. But milk porridge is better in a slow cooker. Each saucepan is good individually, but together they are POWER!
Boo Boo
So which pressure cooker should you take as a result? Unit 1000 or are there more options? Otherwise I’m already completely confused.
Anastasia

In principle, they all really seemed to come off the same conveyor one after another, only they were glued to different labels, therefore, it doesn't matter which one you like better, and take it. If you choose from Unita, then still take the 1000th model, not the 800th. It is still more functional.

I want to raise the topic.
Girls who bought a multicooker pressure cooker, answer. How do you, after a while, appreciate the convenience and functionality of this wonderful pot in action?
So I decided to buy myself. Honestly, at first I wanted a cartoon, but so far with finances tense, but here it seems to be cheaper ...
Advise whether to buy a multi-pressure cooker, or to wait and buy a multi-cooker already? (although, I know myself, most likely everything will not end with one purchase, well, you still have to start with something ..)

I appreciate it very well - now I often cook in it, although there is also a cartoon. I think that you can start with a pressure cooker, or maybe even finish with it in principle. He will only get used to it a little bit, since everything is prepared very quickly in it. I haven't tried baking in it yet, because there is a cartoon, well, and by inertia I bake biscuits in it. and so-in the subject there are reports about baking in a pressure cooker.
I know that natalka also supports me, I will quote her post from a neighboring topic

Cubic , I also wanted a multicooker, but I did not get it at that moment. I bought a pressure cooker Unit-1000, I have it for four months now, I constantly use soups, borscht, potatoes with meat, filling for pies, etc. I like to cook in it, I was not disappointed (y) Fast, tasty, convenient ...
And now I don't even know if I still want a multicooker, in any case I'm not looking for it on purpose.

Mueslik , Thank you.
I’m not friends with porridge, but here the child is growing up, we have to cook porridge! So I was going to automate this process.

Just keep in mind that if you are going to cook porridge from evening to morning on a timer, then the multi Panasonic has a 13-hour timer, and the Unit-pressure cooker has a 9-hour timer.

9 o'clock ... I don't remember when I slept the drain ... somehow more than 6-7 does not work

in fact, I think that 9 hours will be enough for morning cooking: so that there is porridge by 8, the food must be loaded at 11 pm, which is not too late. As a last resort, I think that in a closed saucepan, shouldn't everything cool down quickly? stand a little, no big deal
