Poached eggs with sour cream, mustard and caramelized onions

Ingredients

sour cream 4 tbsp. l
dijon mustard 1 tsp
medium onion 1/2 pc
pepper
salt

Cooking method

  • This dish, instead of the usual scrambled eggs, can be prepared for a brunch on weekends when no one is in a hurry.
  • The combination of soft-boiled eggs, melted cheese with a spicy silky sauce and sweet caramelized onions is perfectly complemented by the freshly baked favorite crispy bread.
  • Prepare poached eggs. Poached eggs (master class)
  • To make a sauce: heat a frying pan, pour in a few tablespoons of liquid sour cream (about 2-3 tablespoons for each egg). While heating, add Dijon mustard (about 1/2 teaspoon for 3 tablespoons of sour cream). Stir, sprinkle with salt (not salt at all), black pepper to taste.
  • Put the cooked eggs on a plate, top with the sauce, and then put in a few small pieces of cheese (any cheese you like, I have Jarlsberg). You can put the dish in the oven for 2 minutes or in the microwave for 15 seconds, so that the cheese melts a little.
  • Add the camelized onion and serve.
