White cabbage 1 kg
Carrot 2 pcs. (130 g)
Salt 1 3/4 tsp
Water 100 ml
Tomato paste 2 tbsp. l.
Hmeli-suneli 2 tsp
Bay leaf 1 PC.
Bulb onions (optional) 1 PC.
Olive oil 3 tbsp. l.
Dill and parsley 1 bundle

Cooking method

  • Preparation:
  • Chop the cabbage finely. Grate carrots on a coarse grater. Cut the onion (if you plan to use it) into quarters.

We don't like boiled cabbage stews in a floating liquid. The most delicious for us from the oven, stewed, dark color.
A very good result was obtained in one of my multicooker, because there is a mode that is successful for evaporation.
I set a goal to achieve decent taste in the pressure cooker. It would not have been possible to obtain the desired result in the "Extinguishing" mode alone.
I tried to combine the modes. First steam the cabbage under pressure, then fry in a little oil. It turned out not only dietary, but also very, very tasty.
I recommend giving it a try.

I don’t understand, even though I have another pressure cooker - Shteba, but still. How to interfere if the mode is with pressure, which means that both the valve and the lid are closed?

Irina, the "Fry" program in Polaris works without pressure! :) You were confused, probably, by the word "pressure" in this mode. We indicate the pressure 1-2-3 because it indicates the temperature on "Roasting" and "Baking"! That is, 3 is the strongest heating (160 degrees).

Now I only stew cabbage this way. We like the result.
